Bruh... Meek lost a beef, and years later was allegedly caught going to Pound Town by him throwing it back to Sean Combs. (No Diddy)
However, neither of those things are a crime that'll put an asterisk by his name for the rest of his life as a sex offender.
And, people in Drake's crew are questionable too. "Baka got a weird case. Why's he around?," plus it was said beforehand that, "Those predators move in flocks."
These things seem plausible as well.

@@joserollo4852 technically so did meek. Drake two songs one corny and ass, the other was a mega bop. All of meek shit was trash and rushed because Tour and Nikki sided with Drake when this shit all happened so it's worse for Meek. Man has never recovered.

The last half of the interview is flawed because in Hip Hop, you don't get to have a certain level of exclusive aura. Eminem is the most exclusive rap superstar, but he's LITERALLY given you every single piece of his personal life in music for that to be ok. Other than that. I 100% agree with Emmany. Artists like Cole, Dot and SZA already leave everything you need to know about them on their tracks. That's why all their fans ride hard for them because they relate to them through their music. Insisting on them having interviews up and down the place is just mostly coming from a selfish angle if we're being honest because the human being always wants more. You already got the artist but you mustn't get the person.

    This topic is 🔥🔥.
Ice has a great point: there are some people that only want to release art and not give any of themselves to the public. That's fine. Release your music under a pseudonym, boom problem solved.
Yes some artist want to have a mystic relationship with their fans and only do things every blue moon. (Mj, prince, Kendrick) but all of them earned it. That place music culture is earned.
Elliot makes a great point, it's amazing to see our favorite artist first interview on a platform like the breakfast club and be able to go back years later and watch it. And appreciate their growth and the nostalgia that comes with remembering those times. It's amazing, almost like a high.
For example (to Ishs point): I love Mac Miller. It's amazing watching him on Breakfast Club getting played my charlamange and then his next couple of appearances on the BC you can see his maturity and evolution as an artist/person and also with his relationship with the cast. Without these interviews, I wouldn't have the same connection with Mac. Music does that to a certain point, but interviews are almost just as important. You don't want to hear about artist we love from STRANGERS. We wanna hear it from the artist themselves. And when they are gone their interviews are forms of art, because they are in 'character'. We want to feel and see our investment paying off. Good music and bad interviews/ bad social media presence can derail a career faster than bad music, at least the way things are today. Artist can comeback from a 'bad' project, how many can comeback from a bad press run.
Elliot is ultimately right. If you don't want anyone else chirping about you, go do interviews and tell your truth, own your story. And when you do, you gotta go to the culture media, not rolling stone and billboard (to joes point)

Sometimes artists refer to interviews in their lirycs.
    When I heard
I hate the way to walk, the way talk...

I mmediately see the interview with DMX on The Breakfast Club.

Kendrick and Cole as well all all our largest artist have interviews from damn near each stage of their growth... everyone they are talking about have these interviews that show them in the beginning middle and end.
