Chinese owned Riot clearly disabled replays so people think Vanguard stopped all cheaters, when in reality people just can’t tell if there are cheaters with replays not working. Chinese owned companies do creepy or greedy things like that all the time, sadly.

I learned that when i play league, i have to be the really calm, like a monk, mute team, play the game in the way you know its right and ignore pings, with your mind clean everything is more visible to you, its easier to contemplate all the possibilities in the game being like this.

The emotional section reminds me of Stoicism. Not what pop culture says it is where you "don't feel emotions." It's really about accepting emotions, letting them be what they are, and acting with grace regardless. Feel the emotions, but be aware of how they try to take control of your actions, and try to separate the two.

The lessons in tilting and ego where definitely a big one for me. I'm hardstuck bronze, been casually playing on and off for a couple months at a time for about 2 years now. I kept thinking, if only I was higher in rank then my teammates would be good and I could climb, which is ridiculous. Knowing that inting and trolling happens in all elos and that even pros go on big loss streaks in solo queue has really helped with my mental. Knowing now that even on a loss, if I play well it's still a win is really going to help me.
I want to one day play competitive in 5v5 because having the ability to coordinate plays with your teammates with voice comms and have it work is such a fun feeling. And even if it goes bad no one (theoretically) flames you because you're all on the same team with the same goal, to improve and win.
    Thank you.

I was so scared of climbing or branching out-- I mean I've been playing for over a decade and am starting my first comp season this year-- but you've reinforced that I really just have to trust myself. I've had all the fundamentals there, all I have to do is trust that what I'm doing is right, and even if its not reflecting in my personal k/d or if someone else in lobby wants to be loud and wrong *I* know my impact on this game and *I* know my champions limits. Wow man thanks for this, I'm far less stressed

I'm currently a coach in Diamond EUNE, I've been hardstuck here for a split because of toxicity. People literally inted each other from champ select around 50 games out of 300 this split. I decided to learn Sylas JG in SoloQ , in other words the hardway, lost some games there. I lost some times to tilting sessions (that's one of my weaknesses I need to work on). Moving onto EUW were things seem better mentality wise, hoping to see my actual rank come to life and not only know that my game knowledge is better. I love the way you look at the game. 12 minutes in and every single thing you have said I have said to my students. It's incredible, really. I will be going over this whole video, I might learn a lot of things myself. I might learn something that will help my students. In any case, much respect for this video man. After watching this video, I made the biggest brain play I’ve ever made.
My laners were a little on the dominating side but I was weaker in jungle due to a botched level 1 deep ward making me do my camp late. I cleared opposite of the Warwick topside to botside because he was going to beat me early. So basically because I knew my laners were able to tap towers occasionally versus them, I focused grubs and gave first drag. This let us take tier 1 towers earlier than usual and set up vision as a team. They took 0 dragons or obj for the rest of the game and it felt good.

League, as complicated as it is, everyone sucks, so the game is really simple.
OFGSaiph made a yt video called something like "Everything you need to get good at League of Legends", and it is a stream VOD, he didn't even finish it and he made it on a whim many years ago, yet almost everything he said still applies, and will basically bring you to challenger if you actually follow it, since the game actually is simple when properly broken down. Although I love your min-max-like approach, loved doing that back in WoW.

The first game I played (after some practice in the practice tool) and I just carried my team with an off meta pick (singed jungle) against a yi. Started out getting invaded, and all three lanes lost the early game. I carried the team on my back with a 4-0 dragon soul, Baron, and a penta kill that lead to ancient dragon and their surrender. A+ video 10/10 no changes would subscribe again

Some of these advices also don't apply to some games typology. Like when the game is an absolute chaos and everyone is fighting over and over, of course you have to skip camps to bring numerical advantage to the fights, because this will make a difference of say 2 kills for the enemy team vs 2 teams for your team = 1.2k gold diff, for that you just maybe give away some camps if the enemy jungler counters you which is just 500 gold diff. I don't know, like I just things some things that you are saying with so much confidence depends so much on the kind of game. Like yes in a LEC game where every one is so well behaved you would be right, but in the chaos of SoloQ skipping camps is actually a must and you end up spending some games not farming any camps after 5 min because you have so much more things to do on the map.

This video is so amazing but what most piqued my interest is besides the skills/concepts mentioned in 9:36, what other skills do you recommend?

Anything you find interesting or valuable. League is super subjective, so there is no right answer here. Invading, ganking, assessing waves, playing for objectives, teamfighting, skirmishing

It's pretty funny how random people with no teaching background are explaining how learning works xD But starting at 13:20 is getting useful

Ok, but what if I am playing a champion like master yi, who wants to snowball. Shouldnt I want to kill the enemy jgl to get myself ahead and put him behind instead of going for the grubs? I mean if I kill him I can take grubs after

There is a difference between understanding something and actually being able to replicate it under pressure. I understand all of LoL. It's not rocket science. There are fixed principles and a lot of variables. Most of it is easy to understand. But implementing all of it in your gameplay and doing the right thing at the right moment is extremely difficult.

I like some part of it, but the focus on objectives and especially drakes it a bit too exaggerated. First of all, this analysis of like equivalent gold of the 5% armor and MR over all the players is not accurate because it's way better to have 20 armor and 20 mr on one player only rather than spreaded across all players. So you hardly can say it's worth that amount of gold. But also, doing an objective is a very tricky operation that first requires another action on the map, like having prio on some lane or kill some laner beforehand etc.. a lot of people tend to forget that and try to do the objective although they are obviously going to lose the fight around this objective due to relative strength of the participating forces at that time. So many time I had teammates that told me: why do you cross map on grubs, drake is more important. And I tell them, well maybe if enemy botlaner was not 8/2 I could do drake with you but right now it's totally inconceivable
