Why haven't people held Christian Keyes accountable for using them?

- Almost two months ago, actor, singer, producer, & writer Christian Keyes did an Instagram live where he detailed his past including multiple incidents of attempted sexual propositions. He promised his fans and followers he would share with them the names of the predators so that they could be protective of those they knew who wanted to be in the entertainment industry. Yet, he has not. Today we discuss holding him accountable. We later learned after the live that Mr. Keyes was involved in a copyright infringement legal battle with Tyler Perry Studios and another individual who was trying to take his show from him during that live. He was using us.

My name is My View My Opinion (MVMO) & I am a Podcaster, on UA-cam. Due to safety concerns on the internet, I do not share my personal information anymore and I ask that others respect this. Also, I'm against the cult of personality & the promotion of self. I have no desire to "make a name" for myself. That's odd in this day & time I know, because most strive for this. Too many folks make themselves the center of attention instead of helping others first & allowing the information they share to be the focus of folks attention. Many crave applause, acceptance, & "fans & followers". I believe in letting the information take center stage.

My UA-cam channel is host to my podcast. However, I do make on camera appearances from time to time & have many times in the past- as this is how my channel started, with me on camera talking about whatever. And for those who always ask, yes, I am a black woman, LOL!!!!

Totally agree with you. I had told friends, when discussing this guy, that when he made that video, he was really, only talking directly to the "Billionaire" that he was accusing...sending a message. That's why he made sure to mention, and show the "pen", recording device. What's really sad is, that same billionaire will continue to sexually abuse other victims, he will just issue more checks. Mr Keyes no longer has "my" support in any project he's involved with
I’m so disappointed in Christian. I had followed him before all of that drama blew up and had always viewed him as someone with integrity. I hated to admit it, but I knew he was performing blackmail when he kept saying he was “going to go” to the police, vs. already having done so. It was clear he was threatening TP and whomever else was involved. So now he just goes about business as usual like he never made this dramatic statement. He sure was selling that facial moisturizer and show, and music. Christian fell hard in my book. No respect for him now. He didn’t protect others from his abusers and that may come back on him.
Somebody greased his hands with money. That's all he wanted in the first place.
Thank you. I hate that he got everyone emotionally worked up and names being dropped and then disappeared, It seems obvious he got a payoff. You advice for real life application was priceless. Even if it means it will impact us in a negative way I try to hold people account able to their words.
He popped up on my feed the other day, and I skipped it. Very disappointed in how he conducted himself.
He was posting on social media from the mountains on a skiing trip with a group of friends….rest assured he collected a check & is now outside blowing money 😅
I personally never trusted his story. He's an actor. The story didn't add up. He has something hiding himself. I didn't let him in my head. I told my friends he wasn't going to reveal his secrets. He played on ppl emotions.

I always thought he was gay for pay ..i believe that him and Tyler had an "arrangement " and over time Tyler moved on to someone else and he was mad cause he could not reap anymore of those benefits.. he's full of it
The endgame was never to expose the billionaire(s). Christian Keyes' goal was to get a payout and secure his financial future. That's how blackmail and extortion present itself. Victimization, on the other hand, presents as a person seeking justice for the wrongs done against them regardless of the outcomes. When CK said he intentionally let the statue of limitations run out before sharing his story, we knew right then he was trying to control the narrative and on some money grabbing B.S.
Christian clearly played in our face and used us as a pawn to shakedown his offender to pay up or be exposed. I’ll just say he did what he had to do and leave it at that. What disappoints me is that a predator remains at large and unchecked leaving others vulnerable to the same fate possible violation.
I'm done with him.

I'm so glad you touched on this, because I noticed that no one has peeped a word on CK. I have no respect for men like him. Looking back on his LIVE months ago, he really played the role of victim. God this and that...We will have a conversation....Predators this and that - the terminology was on point. What upsets me the most (and there was a lot that upset me) is when he says why men don't tell if they've been s*xually assaulted, etc., because of the shame and because they are men, etc. In his case, he is the reason why men don't tell. It's because of the con game he played. He has made it even more difficult for men to share their trauma, because his intention was clearly not to support victims and expose alleged predators.
His goal was, let me get what I want, by way of tugging on people's emotions. And more than that, his intention was extortion. It sickens me because this alleged predator, along with CK is continuing to live their best life. The only difference now is that (I believe) CK has been paid off generously to keep quiet. Not too long ago from my understanding, CK and his business partner were on social media giggling, jovial discussing his business, etc. He acted like he never had the conversation on LIVE months ago. That just boggles my mind and angers me at the same time. He has not helped anyone but himself. The only thing that motivated him from Cassie was to get a financial pay off from the one who s*xually assaulted him. I'm sick to my stomach.
And I can honestly say, because of CK's flippant and disregard to what he said he would do to help protect other potential victims, I hope that it all backfires.
After Jussie, I wait for the other shoe to drop. Saves me a lot of wasted time and irritation. I never believed anything he said. I figure if any of that was true he would have gotten a lawyer and done a Cassie V.

So glad you made this video. He played in our faces and did exactly what he was familiar in doing to get the results that he wanted. It appears he anticipated that a proposition would happen and plotted to capitalize off it when it did. In my eyes this is not a victim. Should the alleged proposition have happened? No, but it appears they both had bad intentions. My opinion. I immediately unfollowed him- because I’m not interested in what he has to say going forward. Choices

There are people who lie for money. It’s sad. I don’t know if his story is true but I’d rather there have a relationship that he extorted vs him letting a predator go free.
This, in my opinion is one of your best segments. He’s a true trip. He will not get any support for him. Movies or other. He used our emotions.
I agree. I hopped on his live the other day thinking he was going to provide an update, but it was to promote his new skincare product. There hasn’t been any resolve for the netizens, but more importantly, because the abuser(s) haven’t been named, there will be more victims who’ll have similar experiences to his own. I unsubscribed from his instagram.

I didn't even know his name before this, but I watched the video of that Live & empathised and followed him. The video is now no longer on his feed. *Unfollowed.
I knew he was full of it. I’m not saying something didn’t happen to him but he came across as if he was giving a performance. The whole thing didn’t sit right with me.
He kept saying it's not about money when, in fact 💯 it was all money. ( unexceptional) I really thought something was off on when he was talking 😢😢

I'm the person that will completly stop supporting a celebrity. There's a celebrity that has questionable behavior with children. There has been videos, comic skits, ect. I completly so watching or listening to anything that he's in. A marvel DC comic movie came out with him in it and I Sheff to see that movie soon bad. I didn't and haven't watched it to this day and it's on Netflix.
I think people don't understand the power they have as the consumer. These people are only getting money because their watching, listening and buying their merchandise. Watching him is still putting money in his pocket. Tune all the way out and maybe he'll come and do what he said and look out for girls & boys that might across that person.

I was one who gave him the benefit of doubt and this video made me feel good about that. Even though I always liked him for probably a decade or more now, I never actually followed him on the socials and.I don't have a subscription to BET+. But I just so happened to have seen two episodes of All the Kings Men in 2022 while at the salon and thought the show was absolute TRASH! 😫The writing was terrible. lmbo So this will be a very easy decision for me to forsake any and all support of him moving forward. lol
