Married with children - Falling off the roof

- From Season 10 episode 14 and 15, funny moments of Al and his friends falling off the roof and hitting the ground, one of my all time favorite episodes of Married With Children.
Somewhere on the FOX studio back lot in a trunk in some dust-covered studio, there is a lifelike, life-sized, Ed O'Neill doll. Someone needs to find it.
Its in his home same place where david faustino took his when the show wrapped up
@@walterpetersen776 I call bullshit unless you can somehow prove it with photos or a video interview with Ed. David had one too, yea, but they're normally considered as props or something similar, so you'd think that once the episode was filmed and the season ended, that the dummy would just go back into storage somewhere on the Fox lot or in an unmarked warehouse in Los Angeles.
It should be in The Smithsonian.
Hell yeah.
@@cainster I call shut the hell up. How's that?
Its AL's screams before the fall.
😂😂😂😂😂😂.
The writers, producers, actors and prop artists must have a had a blast making this episode. Fucking hilarious.
one of the best sitcoms of all time
You left out the best part with Al hanging there forever while he calls for help.
"I'm hanging by my chin-hair!!!!" 😂😂😂
@@marcelparker6755 I thought he said, "chin, here."
@@sha11235 Maybe
this is by far the funniest episode no matter what others may say.
why did married with children last so long?
What about The Egg and I? The one when Steve returns. That episode was hilarious. Also, 555-SHOE, The Cabin Show, and the first ever Labor Day episode were simply incredible.
"Five mintues, Peg!"
"Four feet, Five feet, six feeeeeeeee...!"
😹😹😹😹😹
MARRIED WITH CHILDREN is the best american 🇺🇲 sitcom series of all time 😺👍.
Greetings from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.
Fun fact: they wanted to hire a stunt man for all these falls but Ed O'Neill insisted on doing all his stunts himself. What a guy!
Marcy's laugh is soooo funny!!!!
*so
she's the one who killed the show by bringing in her feminist/lesbian crap to it
@@GawrGurasBathTubPizza *She’s
*it.
@@GawrGurasBathTubPizza no she didn't kill the show. She was there from the 1st episode and was there for basically every episode as a sort of a Hillary Clinton type feminist villain and nemesis for Al Bundy.
The actress Amanda Bearse did end up being a version of Marcy in the end (like Ed O'Neill was a bit like Al) but she didn't kill the series.
The writers must have been watching some Road Runner / Wile E Coyote cartoons.
I'm sure, that many Looney Tunes characters, such as...
- Bugs Bunny
- Daffy Duck
- Porky Pig
- Sylvester the Cat
- Tweety
- Speedy Gonzalez
- Wile E. Coyote
- Pepe Le Pew
...inspire many people to create their own arts, like sitcom series, movies and comic books 😺👍.
Even i also draw my own furry comic arts 😺🐰🦊.
MWC was essentially a cartoon. It just had live characters.
@@xaenonrumor has it that sony is planning an MWC adult cartoon and with the original cast and the showrunner is a writer on family guy
@@clintbrew I think they should leave well enough alone.
Remember when Santa fell out of the sky in that same spot. 🤣🤣
Al: Watch it Jefferson uhhhh !! (THUD) LMFAO!!!!
And before: Hey Al, how is it goin'? Never better :)
Somehow, that they're so obviosly dummies falling to the ground makes it even funnier.
Yup. You can't get the same effect with a stuntman. The dummies really let you imagine the pain when you see them land right on their heads!
Officer Dan is a sharpshooter to take out the bird with 1 shot without hitting Bob Rooney!
Who said he was aiming at the bird? :)
1:59 Most hilarious Al Bundy scream ever 😂
Yes, MWC was and is a classic, brilliant, simple comedy show. Al was the shits!
I can't stop laughing at how low the right side of the couch is at 2:30 into the clip. Yet we laugh at AL falling off the roof!!
I’m not sure how the hell the tv and camera crew could keep a straight face and not die laughing!
What made Married With Children so great was that, it made fun of heterosexual men just as much, if not more than anybody. It wasn't like it just made fun of one group, or several groups, as if men were superior. Even though it was a show for dudes, it poked just as much fun at itself (From a guy's perspective), as anyone else.
At times, the show had a John Waters feel to the episodes, even going into the freak show point of view of Middle America.
it's still an awesome show 👍
better then any of the crap on tv today
the noises they make, are pretty funny too
That's Carol Ann Susi in the raspberry suit :""( RIP
Officer Dan unsung hero !!’
It does hurt to watch whenever the guys/dummies fall down head first. 😣🥶😰🤕
2:05 I didn't realize before that that's Carol Ann Susi (Howard's mother aka Mrs. Wolowitz from BBT). Iconic voice. RIP
One of the best episodes, and a great tribute to the Stooges
Now This is Too Funny!🤣
Who knew Mrs. Wolowitz lived next to the Bundy's??
They were literally raining men.
@@BSC8987 lmao 🤣 I forgot about that song.
You show this show in Iraq, Japan or Cuba and everybody relates.
Jefferson is a straight version of Jim J Bullock
Good to know I wasn't the only one who thought they looked alike.
Totally eh
Ooh ooh yeah married with children lol 🤣 smh off and now it's time for the married with children 2023😅
Omg I laugh so hard I had to go to the bathroom
Classic comedy!
Concussion aisle 1 lol
dive dive dive lmao
vertical limit ....lol super scene anyway : )
0:13-0:20 had me dying of laughter. I love those fake dummies that they used. Tv shows just don’t make the cool stuff like that No more. The shows of today are crap.
2:05 Is that Mrs Wolowitz from The Big Bang Theory? It sounds like her!
@ConanVictor they were good times indeed
Where is the part about Bracket S and Brave T
a real knee slapper of a show
Episode directed by Wyle E. Coyote
Dam ..It just looks painful
Al Bundy is still my hero

To bad they didnt show Jefferson as Dan hey Dan could u hand me screw u? Dan replies what? Jefferson says Screw u.
Bro I’m laughing my ass off
The best thing about this is that they didn't even bother to try to make it look realistic. The absurdity of the dummies actually adds to the scene rather than taking away from it.
Back then we didn't care about little things like modern young people today ,were everything has to look as realistic as possible when they know it's theatre lol
its a comedy, why would they try to make it realistic? its not an action film
Exactly! The dummies get hurt in way better ways than stunt performers so you can REALLY imagine the pain they're in! 🤣
It was shot in 480p
We watched it on 480p tube TVs.
The only reason you notice now is because you're watching it on a high definition/ ultra definition TV.
But yeah to the one guy who commented at that, it looked way better with the way the dummies landed than actual stunt doubles. You're right too
I know right - those dummies and Al's screaming are what made this scene for me.
Only Al Bundy & friends) could fall from a 2nd story roof, land on his head on sidewalk and get right back up. Best sitcom ever.
Especially Al and Jefferson wearing neck braces.
Absolutely hilarious 😂😂😂😂
It’s like the Coyote constantly falling off a cliff chasing the Road Runner.
In that one scene, where Al and Jefferson are sitting on the top of the roof, you can see that they have neck braces on.
Nice touch!
Then, it was Griff's turn for a trip off the ol' roof!
Watching Officer Dan shoot Bob Rooney's Captor, the big Bird, out of the sky, and watching Bob Rooney come plummeting to the ground at, say, ohhh... about 120 Miles Per Hour, was wild, to say the least!
Poor Bob Rooney.....
@@spider_hossYeah... for the umpteenth thousandth time!
Wile E. Coyote should've given up after that. He wasn't gonna catch that Roadrunner.
Ever!!!!!
When the show was on its last legs, the slapstick kept it alive...always amaze me how this kind of humour is both timeless and universal, this is still hilarious 25 years later as it was when it aired!
The recurring characters helped the show in these later years.
True for us sane humans. I'm sure the Woke maniacs are sky-screaming about the slapstick. Humor offends then, you know.

Man I laughed so hard the first time I saw these episodes, then every time the show would come on after this, I hoped they'd repeat. These and the Al's aliens.
I feel you!
this show is still a classic i watch it always cuz it funny
Same here , I swear those aliens visit me I have no other explanation for what happens to my socks ..
yo, toward the late 90s after the show had finished, I was looking every week in the TV guide hoping it would pop up so I could build a tape collection.
"Walk it off, then Frisbee the dish back up here."
Classic 😂😂
That wasn't Al falling off the roof, that was a dummy. Oh, wait! That dummy was Al! Long live the King.
This was no doubt inspired by the 1930 Laurel & Hardy classic "Hog Wild" where Stan and Ollie try to install a short wave radio antenna on the roof under the eye of Ollie's less-than-supportive wife.
Other Laurel & Hardy shorts remade as MWC episodes: "Two Tars" (1928) and "The Music Box" (1932). (Also: the Three Stooges' "Idiots Deluxe" from 1945.)
I'm THIS close to accidentally breaking my laptop!! This is too funny!
I’ve seen this a million times and still laugh my ass off. . . . We legit quote Married with Children all day everyday . . .
We all hit the ground at least twice

**laughs loudly as Griff falls off the roof**
"Four feet. Five feet. Six fee-EEE-EEE-EET!"
People might think this is easy comedy but they were all so good at it, it still makes me laugh my ass off
After all the roof falling, it was brilliant that Jefferson walking into a door.
Bob Rooney screaming toward the earth cracks me up 🤣
Is it just me or as he is falling and the guys are watching him fall Jefferson waves? 😆
@@calvinbrock8871 lol yes!!!
I like the one where Bob Rooney was stick in the wall
Griff falling off the roof was the funniest.
I'm still in tears🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I remember being an 11 year old boy watching this in Australia when this episode premiered. I couldn't stop laughing. I have no idea why they called this show "sexist" because it lampooned EVERYONE. There was simply nothing like it on TV. In fact it was the antithesis of all the "family friendly" perfect family TV sitcoms that were just so sickening to watch.
i watch this when it was on like last year or few months ago it stop showing on tv dont know why i like this show
It was absolutely hilarious to watch these guys fall off the roof over and over again and then climb back up the ladder and fall off again. You have to laugh cause if you realize that falling off the roof like that in real life, you would break every bone in your body, become paralyzed for life or get killed instantly.
This show was the best growing up!
OMG, I laughed so hard at this scene that my sides were hurting. I absolutely miss this show.
I love all they fall of roof of 2 stories
Modern day 3 Stooges.
The 90s!
You had live through it to understand how awesome it was.
🖐😂👍Lmfao! The guy on the audience @ 2:18 laughing had me rooolling on the floor! This was and still my all time favorite episode!🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
Same here! I'm in tears from laughing!
@@violator791 lol 😂👍I must have rewinded it about 100 times already! And still can’t stop laughing! My wife’s looking at me funny 😆
Al and Jefferson are superhuman!! They do not need to go to the hospital after falling multiple times like that
If they really all fell off the roof none of them would have any strength left at all to even pick themselves up off the patio, climb up the ladder again and then fall off again. What makes it hilarious or worse is that Al has fallen off the roof two or three times, not broken any bones and all the other guys on the roof weigh at least 200 lbs. each. Al trying to pick himself up and then another 200lb. guy falls off the roof and lands right on top of Al at a fast rate of speed which should instantly kill him, and sometimes it's two guys on top of Al.
You cut out a great part at around the one minute mark. Jefferson I heard a loud shattering sound did the disc brake? Jefferson says no that was my skull!
I love the part when the wives are betting on who falls off the roof.
yeah I lost it the first time I saw Marcy running the betting pool .
Daily Double!!! 😂
The parts where they all fall down is extremely fucking hilarious, if only a lot of tv shows done that
It's like Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor was cloned
The funniest part of this episode is the screw you joke. First time I heard that joke I laughed so hard I was crying
You mean… Screw U
Bracket S Washer T , and screw U ... omg still flipping funny ..
Another 50, 60, 70 years and people will still be enjoying these clips. I watched the show to TV and have enjoyed the clips many, many, many times. Laughing is good for us: our digestion, or mood, our respiratory system, etc.
This was the best Three Stooges episode that didn’t star the Three Stooges.
1. There was one fall that wasn’t included here. While the No Ma’am guys were chilling and joking around, Jefferson slips off his chair and rolls off the roof.
2. What makes it even funnier is the way that they scream falling down, especially Al.
That episode is one of my favorites ever. I laugh my ass off every time I watch. 😅
This is one of the most funniest episode in any TV programs history re-watching this clip I was actually choking laughing so hard
Married with children's Al Bundy, is definitely a funnier show than.....Modern Family's Ed Oneal Character. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂 i have seen this a hundred times since the 1990’s and I still almost pee myself laughing
Sweet Jesus, I get lightheaded from laughing so hard every time I watch this!
Marcy truly enjoyed this.
I love how when all the wives inside taking bet’s on who lands where and on who
Daily Double!🤣
Four feet......five feet......six FEEEUUEEUEET!!!
Back when actors did their own stunts.
They didn't.
They where a bunch of dummies 😂
@@anibalbabilonia1867 And the comedic payout is just one of the many aspects of this golden show.
@@anibalbabilonia1867 They were a bunch of dummies for willingly being dropped on their heads like that.
@@therealmaskedheel🙄 “ Those fallen figures were NOT actual people. The scenes were spliced together with prop footage. It’s only too obvious. ”
This has to be one of the funniest episodes filmed, the dummies falling were hilarious.. Plus the pointing and laughing when Griff fell off was too funny.
This one hits extra for me because I was a satellite dish installer for a good 7 years, and I can just see all that stuff happening to people who try to install their own with no idea what they're doing.
The 3 stooges would be proud. Great prat falls. The handy man table clown show was another hilarious episode.
I know it's funny but in real life if those people fell off roof like Al did they'd be either dead, crippled or paralyzed for life.
Is it me or does anybody else notice how Jefferson always gives Bud and Kelly Fatherly advice even though they arent his kids?
Which is an interesting character development, considering in his first episode, he found it appealing and realistic that he would be whirlwind wedded to Kelly instead of Marcy…😂
@@LexTanSo would I.
I wonder if Katey ever went on the Son's of Anarchy as Peggy Bundy as a gag.
There was a Futurama episode where she reprised the Peggy role.
There was the time when Tig suggested Gemma dye her hair red to hide out and she said she would rather shave it all off.
