It's a Puig screen. I got it off ebay believe it or not. Not very expensive and really easy to fit... and like I say on the video if you get your head down a bit behind it you definitely feel the benefits and I'm sure on long runs it would improve your fuel consumption. Cheers for the question and I hope you get sorted with one...:)

Hi lee ,ur bike looks and sound gr8! After poppin into a dealership and the sales guy started one up(lovely sound even with std cans! ) this is one of bikes im thinkin changin to in the spring.
Ive got an Kawa ER6F at the mo and want something with more "go", a bit different and sounds less like a tractor (paralell twin) lol. I'll get a test ride first of course.
Keep up with the updates bud.

Hey Lee! it's great finally seeing someone with the Aprilia Shiver! Personally i think this is the most beautiful bike out there, or at least one of them. I'm thinking about getting one myself when i finally get my license, even though i would have to get it limited in power for a while (danish law). Will you get back to making more videos? I realize it's been winter and so on, so i'm guessing that's why there haven't been much activity. Personally, i also like seeing "random" videos like maintenance/modding (even though i like the classic look of the bike, the mudguard is a great addition). Well, i'm looking forward to, and hoping for more content from you :) would be a shame not to show of that beautiful bike more!

I watched you reviews on all the Triumphs...:)
I really loved the Street Triple R
In the end it was between that and the Shiver...:)
I was out in North Wales one day on holiday and there was this car park with loads of bikers in it and everyone seemed to have a Street Triple and that kinda made my mind up as I like been a bit different...:)
I've no doubt that the Triple is a better bike in many ways but I'm afraid the looks and sounds of this makes my boom everytime I'm with it...:)
Love your videos and your passion for bikes...!!!!

The hugger has got a chain guard 'moulded' in...easy fit...:) The screen just fits in place of the original...just basic tools required...:)
Really hope you enjoy your bike as much as I enjoy mine...:)
You'll find everyone admires it and you'll also find everyone NEARLY bought one...!!! Welcome to the club that knows class when they see it...!!!!

Yeah I was considering Street Triple R...but when I saw so many of them on the road I decided to go for this...! I get more bikers talking to me about this because they are so rare for some reason...!
It's a beautiful bike to ride and certainly the 2500 miles I've done have been trouble free...!!!
But at the end of the day it's down to choice...and I like been a bit different...!!!

hi lee thanks for the info.
Chopped my dd factory in for the shiv so got a general idea what the motors
gonna be like when its run in.
The dd's a great bike also but the tank range is crap, will get 30% more with the shiver.
I was paranoid over in spain last year on the dd scared to death of running out fuel.
Wont be a problem this year with the shiver plus I wont be riding alone going with 2 mates.
Anyways you thought about joining the aprilia forum ?
There is a dd/shiver section and peeps with loads of tips and ideas and excellent knowledge on these brilliant bikes.
    Thanks again regards Robbie

Hi lee love yer bike so much so bought one last Wednesday same colour.
Bought the Akras before I picked the bike up can't wait to fit them after hearing yours.
Dealer advised to wait until it's run in.
Just a couple of questions does the hugger act as a chain guard as well, also does the puig screen need any drilling or mods to fit? Regards Robbie

Yeah I'm on the forum...:) I read through it from time to time...!
I'm off to the MCN live weekend at Skegness this weekend so I'm going to make it my mission to find other Aprilia owners...:) I honestly think I'll be lucky to see another Shiver owner though...lol

Nice Shiver! Did you purposely install the Akro pipes backwards? It is supposed to be installed with the cans swapped. Look at pictures online.

Could I ask what your length is? I got a '13 Shiver since last week and I could really see the added benefit of a smaller screen being a taller rider and also using the bike on highways quite often (speed limit here is 130 kph). However, some people say it only creates turbulence around your head, and riding without a screen 'in clean air' is better.

Hi Lee. I have just watched your video and was impressed by your delivery. I am looking at purchasing a new one next week but I have not viewed it yet. I ride a Triumph Tiger 800 at the moment but I am only 5'7. is this bike short enough for me as the Tiger is a bit tall. Have you still got the Aprilia and have you any issues over the past 2 years. Thank you for reading. Martin.

How many miles do you have on this bike now? And if you sold it, how many miles where on it? Any problems you run into? I'm about to buy a 2011 shiver 750 and it only has 2200 miles on it. Also, how tall are you? I'm 6 feet 4 inches. I would also like my girlfriend to ride with me. She is small at 100 pounds and 5 feet tall. Do you think she would be significantly more comfortable than riding on a Yamaha r6 as a passenger? Any thoughts would be great!

Hi Lee me again just wondering if you had any probs fitting the Akras especially the the left one.
It is touching the frame where the oe system hooks slide into?
And I can't find a way of moving it around to clear the frame any ideas regards Robbie

Honestly I can say I'm enjoying owning and riding this bike soooooo much...!!!
I've had race reps before...a Ducati 748 and a GSXr 750 before that...but this bike is as quick and nimble on A roads as both of those...!!!
If you get it into Sport mode and rev it (which it loves) it'll keep with most mid range bikes on the twisty stuff...!
I've had 140 out of it but let's face it anything over a ton or so is wasted...!!!
It feels so confident when throwing it into corners...I tank it on straights like a race bike and had my knee down in corners...!
If you pimp it up a bit and get the ABS model you'll have a very individual bike that seems to draw attention everywhere you go on it...!!
Get one mate...and fxxkin enjoy it...!!!!!!!!
