God! There is NO engine like a Rotary Engine! They are the best. When you see an RX7 or RX8 on the street and it sounds like this in the video, Then you KNOW they are BUILT, and you KNOW they are Bridged and Ported!! Thats what gives them that beautiful sound. Id love to have a built all motor RX7, They are awsome!

Rotary engine can rev higher than anything.
Imagine if these were allowed in F1 and there was no rev limit or limited amount of engines to use.
They would use 1.3L rotary engines, propably dual in a car. Hitting like 30k rpm and producing crazy ass 1500hp

i just wonder if the torque curve would not be unsuitable for most f1 circuits?
but if they had rotaries they would need to reintroduce refueling the cars and stuff like that which would make the sport a lot more exciting again!

Ah...I didnt think about that... These guys knew way before my idea about AWD... It was the rules that prevented such an obvious upgrade. I do still wonder what AWD could handle this kind of power though. Interesting...thanks for the info. The tech is not allowed...lovely.
+SquillyMon just look up WRX and EVO drag racing. But with these Dragsters, all that force and weight goes straight to the back Tires! Which is one reason why the tires are so big among many reasons. Also, alot of AWD cars that drag race and have 1000+ horsepower still have a hard time staying straight at times due to lack of front end down force, Once again...all there weight and power goes mostly to the back wheels because of the acceleration, So they try and stiffen up the car as much as possible to prevent that which helps get the power to the ground!! Theres alot more to Drag Racing than just going in a straight line for an 1/8 or 1/4 mile. I think some places do 1/2 miles to, I know theres like Rolling start Drag Racing.. . Theres a real name for it i think, but not sure. Anyways. ... hope that gave you SOME info about DragRacing, There is alot more to know like I said.

With the PAC car, yeah it'll run out of gears, I can't see it being geared for anything more than say about 250mph.
