I think he's waiting to see how this season goes which puts a lot of pressure on the Vikings to perform now or he leaves in Free Agency. But this team isn't ready to contend, its in more of a competitive rebuild state. Problem is he's going to be more expensive as well the longer it takes the sign him. If he balls out next year and the Vikings still go like 7-10 they are in trouble.
They can beat any team in the league with players we got on both sides they can contend now it all depends on our qb situation do you know how many qbs would want to play in this offense with these weapons half of the league would.. kc doesn’t have all the weapons they need either but they have the QB right that’s what we need and we will find out sooner than later 😂💯💯
If you think the Vikings are going to let him leave in free agency for nothing in return you have lost your mind. They will tag him and trade him if he don’t want to be here but leaving In free agency ain’t gonna happen, not when you can trade him for a shit load of picks!

My brother said the same thing to me. But at the same time man the sooner you get your contract the safer you are with guaranteed cash if you get injured and it's football so... last year I think was the year where I saw the most injuries ever.

My guess is they're waiting for all the other high-profile wide receivers get paid so they know how much to increase JJ's salary so that way he can be the highest paid receiver
If Jefferson isn’t resigned by training camp, he’s gone. I kinda think he’s wanting to play for a contender, and if the Vikes have a losing record again, I think he’s gonna hit the market

Everybody chill. Hes not going anywhere. Hes likely to sign a Contract thats going to pay him in excess on Bosa's $170M over five years.
Every detail, nuance, performance bonus, dollar that's guaranteed, penalty, medical clause, etc will need to be worked out. The vikings will need to find underwriters to insure that level of commitlent. It all takes time, and the truest sign that hes staying is the constant back amd forth in contract negotiations. If he didnt care, they wouldnt be going to all this effort from his side.
