yes, hyaluronic is optional. there are cases we use only the threads. but some cases need combination, to achieve volume and more definition. u can just use threads alone. what's important is your patient assessment and achieving satisfactory results, plus safe technique and correct anatomical placement, and patients' preference were also considered.
