DPL Telematics, a provider of advanced asset monitoring and telemetry technologies, has released its AssetView Stealth Tracking System, an advanced solution for wireless monitoring and remote tracking of any powered or unpowered asset. The small, portable GPS unit is completely self-contained and may be hidden on any asset.
AssetView Stealth allows managers to remotely monitor any asset accurately from an Internet-based software package and mobile app.
The unit features no external wiring or antenna; internal battery power supplied by 2 AA batteries; tamper detection; long battery life; wireless, two-way communication; a waterproof IP 68 and IK07 rated design; tip & impact detection; complete GNSS coverage; global cellular coverage; and a month to month service agreement.
Trailer-sharing platform REPOWR has announced an integration with carrier identity platform Highway, empowering REPOWR's equipment owners and 3PL partners to securely share trailers with vetted carriers. Carriers using the trailers of others are asked to complete carrier packet to haul loads.
This integration ensures that trailer providers gain real-time access to comprehensive carrier data from Highway within the REPOWR platform, setting a new standard for accuracy and market intelligence when exchanging trailers with third-party carriers. The data continuously updates within the REPOWR platform, ensuring that carrier authority, insurance coverage (especially trailer interchange coverage), and more remain up-to-date for the entire life of the trailer exchange.
Bestpass has added new integration features within the Geotab ecosystem that will enable Geotab customers to access new insights regarding toll activity to more effectively manage tolls and identify opportunities to reduce toll expenses.
This “Phase 2” version of the integration with Geotab further enhances the information and tools Bestpass and non-Bestpass customers can use to learn more about toll activity, be proactive with their toll data, and manage toll-related tasks within the MyGeotab interface and allows fleets of all sizes to predict future toll spend by taking into account items such as upcoming rate changes, vehicle adds or deletes, and current travel patterns.
With this feature, fleet managers can replace or re-assign vehicle transponders and order transponders for new vehicles directly through Geotab. In addition to other reporting tools already available through the Bestpass - Geotab integration, this feature will help fleets more effectively manage toll violations and losses caused by incorrectly assigned, missing, lost, or misused transponders.
For Geotab customers not using Bestpass, there is now a new toll estimate tool that fleets and owner-operators can access to receive free Bestpass toll savings estimates.
