Such an outstanding concert. Probably the best of Bharat Sundar this year. Kudos to Margazhi on the 25th year. So wonderfully conceptualized thematic concerts. Really commend the efforts of Subhashree Madam. I would have heard that nattakurunji song 100 times till date, but never once thought of pondering on its meaning... such an elevated revelation....goosebumps.. Great team work. So sensitively accompanied on Mridangam, violin & Morsing. All top class. 👌
I had listened to the first concert of Vidwan Bharath Sundar at the MMA. Today's listening to this MMU concert is truly a measure of Lakshya and Lakshana sampath gained and with immense potential to achieve the exalted state of one of the greatest maestros. Sundar of Soundarya. Vidwan's manodharma ensureld excellence in accompaniment by Vinjamuri Kamal Kiran, Akshay Ram, Krishna and Sai. Listened to Akshay for the first time. He is also a Vidwan of great promise evidenced in the Nadotpati and the choices of mrudanga laya svarams. Subhashri Tanikkachalam has once again raised her standards to offer a series of themes and secure the Vidwans and Vidushees perfect clarity and understanding for the extraordinary 25th year celebrations of MMU. The total team of MMU deserves rasikas wholesome praise.
Excellent concert by BS. First time hearing Mr. Akshay Ram who has contributed significantly to lift the concert. Too good AR . Hearing the traces of bests of Sivaraman sir and Karaikudi Mani sir in his playing. 👏

Happy new year 2025 to all!!!! By the way, in case anyone reading the comments has not yet listened to the concert, I would recommend all of you to watch for the entire duration. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST KACHERIS I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFESPAN, period. I can understand how much effort Bharat anna has spent in preparing for this concert. His narration has improved by leaps and bounds, and to top it, his manodharmam has reached higher heights. And the way he answers questions also is the reason why he is the judge of CMI and he cracked all the tests for Carnatic music. (Sorry for the spoilers) The best part was the NDPMPD,N,RS, tuning the muktayi in accordance with the theme song of MMU. Happy 25 to Margazhi Maha Utsavam, and I feel Bharat anna's concert was a beautiful fireworks to celebrate this wonderful occasion..

Apt choice of songs and matured explanations apart from this I am a big time follower of Bharath from his CMI days there itself he had some sparks in the way of singing now he has groomed himself to be a vidwan it’s not something I am boosting him he has to go a long way My motherly blessings are with him always and I want to hear more no of songs from him in his katcheri I have found that he sang the title music of CMI in swarams it’s BHARATH’s touch

For some reason I don't like the camera position. I didn't even realise that the morsing artiste was sitting until the Amma ravamma song. Violin and morsing artists are present in very few frames in the concert.
Oh, black pants at a Carnatic concert? Scandalous! I suppose the black deities in temples don’t mind, but apparently, fabric in the same color does. Clearly, the future of our culture hinges on the color of someone’s trousers. Good to know where priorities lie!
