This started when she was a kid. You really think she said “hey mom I want to get 30 surgeries I don’t need, a feeding tube, and spend my life in doctors offices so we can get money and attention” as a child?
Don’t get me wrong, Gypsy now is definitely a clout goblin, but she had her whole life stolen from her as a kid, and it’s so cruel when people claim Gypsy was a partner in crime to her sick mother.
Also “why didn’t she say anything” is such a ridiculous question. Every time Gypsy was at the doctors her mother was sitting next to her holding her hand and would squeeze it if Gypsy started to say the wrong thing. You want to know why a child victim of abuse couldn’t speak up infront of their abuser? In any other situation you wouldn’t ask a victim of abuse why they never said anything. Also you’re discounting the psychological manipulation she grew up with. I’m sure she probably had some degree of Stockholm syndrome too. Also a lot of abusers tell their victims “if you tell anyone x,y, and z will happen.” So they’re afraid to speak up. I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened in Gypsys case too.

She has a chromosome microdeletion disorder (microdeletion 1q21.1). Microcephaly (small head) and hyper sexuality are both symptoms of her disorder, as well as a lot of other symptoms such as:
Amblyopia (crossed eyes)
Failure to thrive (why she needed a feeding tube)
Excessive saliva production (which is why she had some of her glands removed)
Muscle weakness (which is why she needed her wheelchair when she would get tired, not all the time)
She wasn't medically abused by her mother. They were both liars so that they could get everything handed to them, especially Gypsy.
I think Habitat for Humanity should sue her, and get compensation for the house they gave her and her mom. She is a fraud, and I can’t understand why people are so easily manipulated by a murderer. It’s insane to me.
Those homes aren’t free, just the building labor is free. Most likely the bank took the house when mom died.

@boomeradley8748 the only restraining devices ever found were a pair of brand new unused handcuffs that were found in Gypsy and Nick's backpack after escaping. No dog leashes, chains, or ropes were ever found in the house.

I felt the same way about Gypsy until Covid when I looked into the case more. I still had hope that when she got out she would do some good with her life but wow was I wrong.

I think that she is a victim for sure and a victim of very UNUSUAL crime ( I say this cause this woman tries to make it out like there are many crimes like this and she absolutely needs to speak about it and "spread awareness") but that doesnt mean that she didnt murder someone... she did commit very serious crime herself and the fact that she downplays it just really doesnt sit right with me , just because werent able to make your hands dirty yourself doesnt mean that it didnt happen because of you , she still manipulated this guy with very low iq into committing the crime...and this guy sits in prison for the rest of his life while her mother is dead... I also see that she is very manipulative and very superficial if you will, I dont say that she has to be in prison...she did her time but girl, get some therapy! Go away from spotlight and stop talking about yourself and try to make yourself somekind of celebrity , this is just insane , in my country she would have served 10 years aswell but she would have never been made a celebrity, US is weird like that

She wasnt abused ! she was sick (microdeletion) and her mom was trying to help her!. she was spoiled af. Deedee exagered things on the way. but still mother/daughter con.
Exactly gypsy has a chromosome deficiency disorder and even her own father said that she had bad digestive issues and really bad medical issues like her eyes her ears at all had to get corrected through procedures. And she only really had three invasive surgeries. Hell I had a hell of a lot more. I had about seven growing up. She went to diagram of it on her book. A shame of her scars I would trade scars with her in a heartbeat. She only had like one of her glands taken out because that is a symptom of the chromosome disorder same with the feeding tube because a common is failure to thrive, which is what explains her short. Stature. All the procedures she had done are connected to her chromosome disorder. It was necessary. and when she was older her bloodwork was taken, it never showed any signs of medication’s. She wasn’t even taking the medication at one point. She had to take any antiseizure medication when she was younger because another symptom of her disorder is seizures and I was on the same medication for only one year low-dose and it destroyed my teeth. I had nine cavities two cracked teeth and one had to get removed..so the medication also explains the deterioration of her teeth over the years.
What did her mother did was definitely exaggerate all the medical issues. Her daughter has and she did lie about her daughter having cancer for fraud and financial. Gypsy lives and said she was taking chemo medication that was never proven, and she still won’t provide any proof of that. The neighbor said that Didi was constantly spoiling gypsy, even though she was really overprotective always taking her on trips going to events meeting celebrities. I mean what her mother did was still a form of mental abuse, but definitely not abuse and definitely not Munchhausen by proxy. It was more malingering.

I never was for her. Only heard about the story in Feb. Kept ignoring all the social media suggestions, and there were so many, constant, then finally looked into it. First article I read, started with how she actually was not sick. Yet, looking at her, even disregarding the odd dress/hats and stuff, it was obvious something was wrong with the gene pool. Not to be mean, but come on look at her from birth to now. So was like, but she was sick, right? Had to be.
Then watched the interrogations, yikes. Was not surprised at all when I learned about her chromosome deletion, like duh. I was looking into what gene issue she could have before eventually finding out, it was so obvious.
She knew she could walk for years she was in on the con

Let's also not act like the killing was the 1st attempt either, bc atp, it's really sick. I am just baffled by the world we live in.
Everything that happened was preplanned shortly after marrying Ryan but while still in prison.
Ken came back into the picture while she was still in prison but after she married Ryan. However, she knew that because her dad and sister told her not to get married, she had to go the long haul with Ryan until she could get out of prison and start gaslighting Ryan to turn her dad and sister against him. That way she could walk away being the innocent victim instead of a master manipulator.
She accomplished her plan within 2 months after she got out.
She told Ryan that she talked to Ken the day before getting out of prison. Then told him Ken was snooping around and that she still loved Ken. She said she told him all these things because she didn't want to be dishonest or hide anything in her marriage.
She did all she could to get Ryan to start acting like a jealous control freak to cause fights between her and Ryan. She knew eventually, their fights would cause conflicts between Ryan and her family which is what she wanted. She needed to paint herself as the victim so her family would support her leaving Ryan because they told her not to get married. Plus she wanted them and the public to believe she was an innocent victim so she could walk away with clean hands and be with Ken without hiding it any longer.
She was purposely filming arguments on her cell phone when the tv cameras weren't around but hid it from Ryan so he wouldn't know she was filming him. Then, to make sure she looked like a victim, she would purposely say into her camera that this was the stuff her mom would do to her. She sent those videos to the tv producers hoping they would put it on the show. Which they did. I think one of them was in episode 5 where she was trying not to let Ryan see she was filming Ryan saying things and being mad about something she had told her sister. Then when Ryan saw she was filming him, he asked why would you film this. She used the excuse because this is real life and that's what they want to see.

I don't know if you know that she has chromosome. Um, even her father admitted that she had that and people are forgetting. That's why she needed some of the surgery like the eye surgery. Chromosome affects your eyes. Your teeth and also some of your muscles. But I think her mother took it too far with all the. Stuff that she had so, she could make money out of it. But you gotta look up chromosome. Because she does have that and that's why she has that weird unusual face. And there's a lot of pictures out there with people with chromosome and they look similar to gypsy rose
