I haven’t played in a bit so forgive me if this is a stupid question but how does he have a population of 400?
In this mode, killing an enemy’s king grants you +50 population.
how does his population increase past 200?
for each king u kill, u get 50 more pop size

Dont you think that banning civs in competitive kinda ruins the meaning of playing at your best and find out whos better?
Additional perspective, have you thought about the strategic advantages and disadvantages of banning Civs in competitions?
For example, it would put upon a higher requirement on the player. Meaning they now not only need to excel with their main, but be required to play other civilizations at that same level of gameplay.
Essentially, mastery of the game. = Pro Player
@@l-papafade-l7434 you dont restrict jordan or tiger woods not to do his best move, you want him to do it, they making them puts the game on exciting places and also you dont see MJ excelling at defense he had companions for that, the pro player is the one that always wants to win

I’m not disagreeing with the point you brought up, correct me if I’m mistaken.
Your point is that the Player or in your case Athlete should be able to play at their best with their full arsenal of skill, knowledge and experience yes?
Wouldn’t the applications of those sports slightly differ from the various options AOE4 give you?
If not, then by all means should any competitor should strive to use their best or be at their best.
If possible, consider that those Athletes and or Competitors also run into their fair share of strategical choices and obstacles when facing multi variable situations as would a Pro Competitor such as our content creator here.

I think it'd get boring to see the same thing every game
just saw some guys in chat talking about king feeding, king suiciding, or these 'dirty' gameplay. In my personal opinion, these are also parts of the game. Of course, I felt bad when it happened to me. But in another way, it shows the toughness of the dying player, isn't it?

i really think player should always use only one name forever in AOE4 .The player insulted Beasty for the simple reason that he didnt know who it was clearly, another reason to keep the same name is fairness , if you play against a top contender , you need to know it , imagine you play tennis and you don't know your playing against a top ten in the world.Being one of the best in the world should come with the burden of being recognize by everyone and of course respected.
Or you could use commen sense and not be a born ass hole?

Is it fixed? beasty still went up from 200--->250 when he killed the transport ship with the king.
@Grisha113 maybe if someone damaged the king then it gives it to them? I know if no one has hit the king then it doesn't give the kill to anyone.
If you look closely, it almost looks like that what actually killed the ship were the knights' torch attacks. I don't think he tried to delete the ship at all but idk

It's funny how seeing the amount of gold per trip increase quadratically with distance makes us happier than we should, given that we already know that the income is linearly proportional to the distance between markets.
