beautifully done its like a meditation . My concern is if this is landed on a daily basis that amount of Marlin tuna etc, it won't belong before our sea's are empty ..

Sure it's a big fish, but I think the really impressive thing is that a man with a floating torso is cutting it

So sad, so sad to see this majestic fish life ended just to satisfy man's greed for meat. Stop this before it's too late.

I like watching these during my homework cram times. It doubles as a white noise background to keep that part of my mind occupied, and helps me segue from "Man this sucks right now" to "Hey at least I'm not a fish!" Also, I need that knife. I have no use for it whatsoever but I need it.

Ah, I thought theirs rules/regulations about how much fish you can harvest, and what size you must return back to the waters, ect, by the looks of this I see WAY TO MUCH OF AN ABUNDANCE HERE, AND THEIRS WAY many small/tiny species here, I see they even got some shark too, and that's a funny lookn short chunky shark at 21:30, sure got some huge fins up in the front end of that thing, Wowwww!!😱🤯😵 Also them tuna ARE way to SO SMALL, THEY SHOULDA LET THEM GO BACK INTO THE OCEAN SO THEY CAN GET BIGGER AND REPRODUCE😭😭😭. REALLY.

It's heartbreaking to know that such a magnificent denizen of the deep has now given its life for WHAT?! Man's greed & obsession for killing something bigger & badder than himself?! For somebody's sushi?! This spectacular beast will breed no more....never again to contribute its genes to propagate the dying ocean(s). It should never have been harvested.......but released to live its life to the fullest as God had intended!

i completely agree with you... i have seen how Japanese treats their catch, first they dont have the tendency to hook the body except for the head itself fearing it will lower the price and affect the quality, secondly, too many open cuts, and lastly they usually auction in enclosed area and only the tail section is chopped off for bidders to inspect the meat quality... i was trying to listen to their language to understand if there are from Taiwan or China... (too much echo and feedback but my "guess" is Taiwan)

What a marvelous specimen of mother nature's gifts to this horrible Universe. I hate to think how old it is. If you didn't farm it, leave it alone! Admire it. Revel in the thought you saw it alive, in your own short life time. We are merely passing through this reality, we are custodians of this realm of beauty for generations to come. Today's needs are far lesser than tomorrow's, and do not justify such acts of greed.

    • @lottnio8207

If you think amount of suffering it is better to catch one big fish than thousand small ones. It's like cows and chicken. One cow suffers less than equal weight of chicken. And I'd think that it is better to eat wild animals than farmed ones. Wild animals can at least have a free life before they are killed.
