Perfect time of year for a desert run! Great looking rig on this trip. Seems like y'all had a good time. Surprised it was already that busy, guess it is always good to be able to change plans in those situations.
Weather was perfect!!! It was the most concentration of people we have encountered in the park. Lucky that we didn’t have too much traffic on trail, just all the awesome campsites were taken.
@@OpenRoad4Two It can be a little gutting when that happens, but being able to adapt and conquer will definitely save your trip. Also having the right group of people with you that are okay with a change of plans makes it easier.
Great video and the music to each scene was great. Thank you for sharing the view points and the reality of being flexible, how things don’t always plan out.
Baaaaack! I love watching this desert terrain. Memories of our greatest adventure. No way we drive those dirt roads with our little Kia! Lol 10:51 Way to go! Sometimes, the best adventure is about the people you share it with, not the destination. You nail it. Oh that sunrise. Breathtaking.
We miss being out there too! Hoping that we are able to get back out on the Open Road. Have a blessed Thanksgiving and thank you for your continued support!
Hopefully soon I’ll be trading my 4 runner for a Ford ranger xlt so I can feel better about going more places my Toyota is 31 yrs old not reliable when do pull the trigger hope to hookup with you guys for an epic trip like that
We are well. Thank you so much for reaching out. We have not been able to get out on any adventures and film due to caring for an elderly parent. Family takes priority but we are missing the trails.
I’ve had my AT Habitat since 2018. A good tip for camping in windy conditions- park the nose of of the truck into the wind. The wind will flow over and around the tent and not broadside. Also, use the wind to help you to open and close the tent lid. Just be careful of violent wind gusts. I use a make ship wind vane to determine wind direction. A couple of feathers tied to string and attached to stick on the hood of the truck.
Thank you for watching and we appreciate the tip. Always love how this community helps one another out. With how fast we got it all buttoned up, it was a good bug out test run. Happy adventures.
We are all good, thank you for checking in. It is just that we have not been able to get out on any adventures lately. Life has changed our priorities and focus. We hope we can get out on some trips soon.
Thank you for your concern. Yes, as soon as we realized the rules we did not launch and fly the drone again. We always try to research before our adventures.

Anza is always a great place for an adventure!!!
I went to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in May. And I loved it
It is definitely a playground!!! Glad you enjoyed it and made some lasting memories.
Love AB! I was hoping to go this past weekend, but nobody else was available, and you know what they say, don’t go alone. Great video!
By the crowds we saw, felt like everyone was in AB!!! 🤣 Thank you for watching and leaving us a comment!

What a fun outing ! Glad to see the bright blue skies! -I know you guys have had your fair share of rain!
I think with the awesome weather and the mountain trails being closed still, everyone flocked to the desert.
Great time with you all! I really enjoyed the wildflowers at that first campsite and climbing up that hill 😊
Absolutely!!! Can’t wait for the next adventure and to see your cooking video from the trip.
Awesome video and what a cool adventure! We even enjoyed the winds in camp site #2. We are looking forward to more expeditions :)

I'm gonna guess that the husband is a Capricorn and the wife is a Libra.
It's a very strange place
Some of the rock formations are unusual and beautiful.
U guys ok ?
