    Welcome to Denver... Good pack, the shirt is pronounced KooYoo, and sun shirts are a great addition.

    Excellent video. I have the Vertex Ready Pack 2.0 that I got for a great deal off of Ebay. Love it. There are plenty of pockets. Non tactical. I definitely want to pick up the Grayl Water Bottle. It is expensive but worth it I am sure.

    I have the OG GoRuck GR1 pack, the very first one they made, can I get a waist band to fit that?

    My Cali bag is similar I would just add Chem light, flare pen, mace, and a mini bar travel size moonshine or tequila bottle🥃

    The Grayl Geopress Titanium is awesome but, you would probably be better off just getting the Self Reliance Outfitters stainless steel nesting cup made for the plastic version. I have the Geopress Ti and compare it to the original on my channel (tho I don't show the stainless cup), and believe it or not the Ti version is heavier than the plastic version. It is nice to have the metal cup option with either system, and also a millbank bag for pre filtering is a good idea with these. It just helps prolong your filter life when using dirtier water. 👍

      @silvercommander ya auto correct got it, what ya gunna do. I assume you have both versions and know everything, get a scale out and see the difference. Not to mention the difference in durability for that weight, but I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.....right?

    Good pack, we’ll thought out but if I may make a suggestion. You have a lot of medical, I would get rid of some of it and substitute it for some food and some shelter. 30 miles to your home is a long way, even if you are in great shape. Also, I realize you plan to make a B-line to your home but what if you CAN’T ? What if you have to detour or hide out for a day or two ? I would definitely put much more sustainment in that pack and shelter. I have the one men tent, they are light and durable.

    You do not need the titanium Grayl if you have the plastic one and just want to boil water. Grayl sells the PathFinder nesting cups that fit their two different sized bottles.

    Good video, however how much do you pack weight? How far can you go before giving out?😂

    • @CivilianWarrior
      @CivilianWarrior  4 місяці тому

      Easily 24 hours with 75lbs. Thats about the final weight for a goruck heavy event that is 24 hours long.

    Cannot spend $250 on a Vertx vs $250 for 1000/rds of 9mm is reasonable. But when you tell us you have four tomahawks that are about $3000+ total... Well... Priorities...

      100 percent agree! Spending $3k on a rifle dynamics ak, no problem. Spending $20 and POS gloves at the indoor skiing place in Dubai is a hard pass for me lol.

      Lol I guess if I were to borrow a plane in a shtf situation, it could also be a get 2000 miles away bag

    othing we can do about fakes…I could care less how many people have the same bag as myself…that makes it really spoken for.. I hate when people say they don’t want a certain purse because everyone has it well everyone has a hole are we gonna get rid of ours because of that? Everyone one does something different with their luxrul for example their style, your style will set you apart.

    You said 30 miles from work?? I would keep at least 1 pair of wool (darn tough or other anti microbial wool sock) sock in the pack at all times, change out your sweaty socks for a dry pair regularly while walking, you need to take care of your feet, without them, you are done...

    Boggles my mind that people need all this junk to walk or jog home. Give me bottle of water with a life straw, a couple granola bars, my edc gun, knife, and flashlight and im getting home fast! All that weight slows u down and im not keeping my family waiting a second longer than needed. That means im jogging when i can and im not stopping to cook, start a fire, or have a campout. I get people like gear but its for bugout bags not get home bags. Thats my opinion anyway

    Work on your organizational skills. You have far too many items mixed together that are not relative to each other. Use small kit type bags to separate items according to need and usage.
