The tgin gel was such a surprise for me. I used it on top of the green tea leave in for a wash n go and got 5 days out of it. It was pretty amazing!

Thanks so much chica! It still looked pretty nice today even 4 days after I filmed the vid, big soft curls without a ton of frizz, but my scalp was like ummm it's time lol. But I can't wait to try this more as the weather gets better. Since our hair loves so many of the same products I think you'd love this for twists/twistouts and smoothing puffs/ponytails if you wear them. It's so good. You are so welcome!! If course I just saw this and the curly magic in my target yesterday and was gonna pick them both up (not like I don't have 2 curly magic's in the house already). Now I have to try this one! My hair NEVER stays smoothed down - these curls just laugh in the face of gel. I can feel them popping back up right after I apply. Gotta see if this stuff can tame them! Thanks for the review!
Hey honey!! Lol you can never have enough Curly Magic lol! Girl yes, if you're hair isn't a fan of smoothing then you would love this stuff! My front section always springs back up too, even when I smooth down with a scarf for extra insurance lol, never giving me the look I'm going for especially with puffs, buns, and half up half down styles. I'd get this just for the smoothing in fact I love it so much for that.

Thanks Teresa! I could see it working great for a soft, fluffy wash and go, 4 days after I filmed this my hair still looked/felt pretty good, still soft and the area where I added the gel to smooth was still held down all that time later.

I'm loving all the demos! I notice you twist pretty loosely at the roots and throughout. Is that your norm? Awesome! That nothing feel is like me and curl maker lol
lol it might work great for your wash and gos, it gave great definition, but my spongy texture needs that crunch to prevent my wngs from swelling/tangling but if your hair does well with softer hold gels then I'd totally say go for it! I kept touching it like "I know I put hella gel in here but WHERE is it" lol it felt so nice and light.
When I do my hair in bigger twists it's hard for me to twist/get to the roots, even when I start twisting close to the scalp it starts to loosen right when I finish the twist and with those big sections even when I twist a little tighter it's a wrap when I let go of the twist. But those smediums? I can really get through the thickness, isolate each area, and get a really good grip on the root without twisting too tight. Those smaller sections really help me get that look, but takes so much more time than the bigger sections.
Glad you're enjoying the demos! I used to do my reviews without them but a lot of people asked me to include applying the product so now I try to include them with each review when I can : )
Thanks for all this great info! I'm actually considering doing the opposite and splitting my demo from my review and see how that works. I still plan to post both though. I want to see how much interest each has. I do the same technique every week so not sure how interesting that is but people still want to see it with the different products although my hair looks similar each time. We'll see! Experimenting is fun!
My texture is wiry. Nothing wants to go in, everything prefers hanging out outside the strand lol. With gels that means crunch city for max hold gels. I hate it! But we both like the good stuff gels like curl maker, but they're just so pricey
Heck yes to those pricey gels being our boos! Perfect mix of hold without being overly crunchy, maintain moisture, and they work with so many product combos.
Experimenting is really fun, that's a great idea to post both and see the response!

I have very fine soft hair, low porosity. So I would like to try it since you said it's good for all hair types. I haven't found Eco Style to be good for my hair. It makes my hair hard. Good video
Let me know what you think when you try it, since Eco leaves your hair feeling hard I think you may really like this one, it gives moisture, slip, and depending on the type of hold you like this may be good for a variety of different styles for you. Thanks for watching!

I also love the the CRN and the UFD holy grail but I hate eco styler it makes my hair so dry I tried to like it I used multiple times and I just can't smh
I would like to try that gel just for the smoothing. I've been looking for something to use for that. I usually just use the curls blue berry bliss edge control.
I love this for smoothing, it lasted 4 days just from that first application! I've used the blueberry edge control also, and for me it doesn't smooth as well, and causes me to really have to work it in to slick my hair back, whereas this stuff applies so much better and leaves my hair smoother longer.
Same here about the Eco, I love how it makes my hair look but it leaves my hair pretty dry, I love gels that nourish and define. I am curious to try the new coconut and Black castor versions though, I've heard they are a lot more softening that the other versions.

Have you ever used 'Curl Junkie Pattern Pusher', styling gel?
I was thinking; maybe the gel will define your curls more, once you clip your ends.
I love that gel! It gives me lots of definition but more volume than my usual wng gels, gotta get some more this year.
The TGIN defined my curls great, it just has no hold for me to get long lasting wngs but gave great definition and softness.
the tgin seemed to have made your hair dry. I used it different times the whole line fully wet and it made my hair dry like the Sahara desert
It felt pretty good, fluffier than my normal gels but nice and soft though not as shiny on wet hair. My favorite way to use it is for the smoothing, game changer. Sorry to hear the line left your hair so dry after you used it, that's never a good result when you have high hopes for a product!
