- Song from Frank London, Lorin Sklamberg, Uri Caine age old album Nigunim. Secular interpretation of mystical hasidic melody. Old eastern European songs sounds great perfomed in middle eastern style. Throught russian is with totaly wrong stress placement. Lots of fractals, becouse they look so mystic;)
Album 'Nigunim' could be found in Tzadik Records: www.tzadik.com/volume.php?Volu...

Tzomo lekho nafshi, komo lekho vesori ("My soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You") Ps. 63:2
and Russian
Ekh! Ti durin Marku
Tshto ti yedish na yamarku
Nye kuplayish. nye prodayish
Tolko robish svarku
("Oh, you foolish Mark / Why travel to the fair? / You don't buy, you don't sell / You only cause strife")
This is not quiet russian actually, looks more like the mix of russian and ukrainian.
better to use:
Ekh ti, duren' Marko
Chto ti jedesh' na jarmarku
