Its actually wrote "grrrl" not "girl". Kathleen Hanna is one of the main leaders of the movement, with her band Bikini Kill promoted causes such as women liberation and gay rights. you should read some of those song lyrics, also kathleen had a solo project called julie ruin, and le tigre is her current band.
