Some amazing scenic journey! 180 degree curves and 3 wheels! :) I have a chance to acquire a used Quadro 3 that I plan to use for longer journeys too. How's reliability? Quadro 350 D and S were a bit of a lottery a bit. What is your experience? Thanks!
kitko33 Hello, personally I would always resort to the newer model. Either the 350s or a 3 Series. Currently I am approaching 50 thousand kilometers. With the Quadro you can already make miles. But at some point problems will come, certainly. It is good if you can screw yourself.
Thanks for sharing your experience, I really appreciate it. Well, 'my' Quadro is a Quadro 3 model with 5500 km on the clock, still 2 month remaining from the warranty. Sure, problems will emerge but I read stories about front hydraulics failing and engine overheating before the 10-thousand km mark on D and S models. But 50-thousand is a nice mileage lump and if you didn't have other major issues, then it's a fairly reliable machine. I just don't wanna end up with a scooter needing expensive mechanical repairs on top of monthly loan repayments.
Super-Mega-Hamma-Strecke und toll gefahren.

Problems so far: fan did not start, thermostat jammed, handbrake must be readjusted again and again.
