I do like watching these reviews. It always makes me laugh & a shake of the head. I remember buying bachmann Mk1s for £15 when they first came out. I'm glad I got all I need.
I am hyped for all that N scale stuff Oh and also Bachman are making Gordon in there N scale line too and Emily just to let you know . And have announced a henry
The Bachmann LNWR coaches look incredible I suspect the price reflect both the complexity of the model as well as the relative obscurity - with no real options for further liveries to spread the costs. Bachmann have chosen to model 4 fixed prototypes as opposed to the Generic coaches that Hattons and Rapido went for - It will restrict potential numbers further. I partly wish they had just done a full train pack with a suitable LNWR loco ( I guess the G2 would be a compromise) however the price of doing this would have been equivalent to a new European Coach packs - Roco 5500004 at £150 per coach ( Analog, no lights)
AC isn't so common in the UK but it was a lot more common in Europe, especially Germany, in the past. Many Marklin early models ran on AC only (basically the same as what comes out of the wall socket). It's continued to soldier on with various manufacturers in Europe. I dont know of any manufacturer who makes AC British outline models now.
I think the class 41 warships stated as Effe rail oo gauge are in fact Graham Farish N gauge models. So I don't know why they are listed as oo? Also looking at the images they look like N gauge with no detail.
@@ModelRailwayNewsReviews I think it was a mistake in the original advertising online which was picked up by online shops and so the mistake continued. I saw the same elswhere, I think on rails website?
@@ModelRailwayNewsReviews not to worry , I have the British blue d600 sat in the cupboard since brand-new along with a hell of a lot more oo gauge everything to build a layout ,locos wagons track buildings and so on, problem is my husband has lost 75 percent eye site so all this stuff will stay in the cupboard,
Thankyou for the reviews. There was nothing there of interest to me at the moment. Please can you 'Time Line?' your reviews, this makes it easier to skip items of no interest to me.

Some nice stuff here, but I'm really waiting for more TT120 releases, specifically GWR/WR steam and diesel hydraulics.

While I am not very informed about the European models but the prices seem comparable with the "high" ones of Bachmann and Hornby.
Roco models: at the risk of appearing stupid, what is the difference between DCC and AC, as in the UK we only have DC and DCC?

I think I made a mistake with the scale in this video 😞

Shame 009 is so damn expensive
The EFE d600 warship in oo gauge, is that by chance the kernow model,? If so I hope the problems are sorted out, why just DCC ?,😊
That one's actually being released in N gauge I think, not OO gauge
@vert999 if you watch the video when the EFE came up it showed oo gauge D 600 warship I watched it twice to make sure and that's what it said,
I think I might have got the scale wrong on the video 😞

£110 for a single coach, no matter how ornate, does seem a bit steep to me.
Reality has left the room .
