I worked armored truck in Detroit for several years before moving to Phoenix AZ. I have several questions about this situation. But the first one that co.es to ming is why the hell did the driver of the armored truck park where he did?
1) The cargo area door faced away from the client building, not facing it.
2) Why did he park the truck across the from the building instead of next to the walk way?
3) Why would he park next to a tree?
Each one of these mistakes created a dangerous situation for the messanger(hopper), the guard picking up the client liability. By parking the way he did, he created a bottle neck with other cars in the lot, he created an indirect route for the messanger by having the cargo door face away from the building and across the roadway foor the messenger and he also created blind spots by parking next to the tree.
He was probably in on it could be a inside job
100% agree. This went against every bit of driver training for this job. If I had been the messenger I would not have exited the safety of the truck until it was in it's proper safe position. I hope the driver was at least reprimanded if not terminated for endangering a life of his messenger.
@@stevecasey1037 he should be fired and investigated for possible connection
Excellent training by commentator.
I have no idea the context or situation regarding the guards or their company, so this is entirely speculation. That said, I drove/fetched for an armed transport company for three years, Louisville KY. Quit last year when I moved back to Ohio, though still work armed security. The Kung Fu Coof has fucked the security industry hard. Cant find people and the ones you can find tend to be too young, too old, and untrained/inexperienced in general. The older guys tend to be old salts, but they're not 25 anymore, and it shows. That's not an aspersion, just the truth, and you can count on them to show up on time and at least try to do the rounds. Thing is, there's not a whole lot of them to begin with. Some, no, a LOT of the young ones are just.... yeah. I'm going to be polite and call it "unmotivated". "Careless" would also be applicable.
Management has also become something else. Depot supervisor sent several of us, myself included, out singleton last year. We were told to secure the vehicle and do the pickup by ourselves. I know for a fact that at least 4-5 guys, myself included, protested this, but were told that there were no fetchers available and that if we didn't do the pickups, we could take our chances in the welfare lines. They canned Mike Davis when he kept complaining. I probably should have kept bitching, but I've got a mortgage and a car payment. So I did it solo a few times, but my ass could have made diamonds out of charcoal the entire trip. The 1-800-Bitch-To-Us-Anonymously number didn't seem to do much either. I left a couple of weeks after the third time they had us do this. Not sure if they still are.

Yea, we need a federal police force with around 68 million cops that way there will be 1 cop for every 5 citizens and with the technology we have now, all movement should be requested & approved before leaving your house then all tracked and logged that way your assigned cop will know exactly where you are and what you are doing at all times 24/7!!! I take it that this channel doesn’t employ anyone that can proof read.
They are the news they aren’t interested in getting things correct
😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣😂😂😂😂😂
I like how we get the vehicles damage pointed out but the PA plate isnt really analyzed.
Could be stolen plates.
Maybe the guard dropped something and the guy in the mask with the gun, was just returning said item. The mayor should give that 'angel' the key to the city.
If not the mayor, D.A. Krasner will be happy to do so.
Give it time. Certain people will say he was just jogging and wanted to help the man in the truck. What an angel👺👹
Mad respect for the dad that was covering his son.
There’s definitely a lot going on in this one area. Seems like the worst spot for an armored vehicle to park. Still doesn’t justify the robbers actions.
Where do you think an armored vehicle should park?
@@EJayV72 One crazy idea might to be to park around back so you don't have to walk through a crowd carrying bags of money and dodging cars in the parking lot. Just an idea. Brinks is lucky these robbers were a couple of clowns that just happened to stumble across the truck while heading to Foot Locker for some new kicks.
@@jamesvelvet3612 alot of our stops are at the front of the store where banks are sitting in grocery stores. We don't get a choice to "park in the back"
One thing i dont understand is why criminals think they do not need to be prepared for unexpected situations. Im glad that part of the license plate number is visible.
Most of times the car was stolen to be used in the robbery like this.
Probably a stolen car.
because they're criminals? They aren't the brightest tools in the shed?
These boys will hang out at the convenience store until a customer goes inside leaving their car running.
They'll take the car and use it all night, and when they're done they'll just leave it somewhere.
Tomorrow night they'll do it again.
So did the suspect get shot ?? Looks like no shots were fired or the armor gaurd got his gun switched by the prop gun on alec baldwins movie .
That moment when the fear left his body and that dad's instincts kicked in was righteous.
His own friends was goin to leave his ass.
Wow, there was so much going on in that parking lot. That was insane, nearly every car was suspect! . Horrible drivers in that parking lot too. If I was the guard I would of just had my piece in my hand and assumed I was getting robbed from all directions. It seemed like the perfect place and situation for that to happen. Head on a swivel folks.
GOT JUST WHAT HIS ASS ORDERED!! KEEP IT UP YOUNG MEN, WITH CHOOSING WRONG OVER RIGHT!!🙄🙏🏽👊🏾
They will learn when they take the room temp challenge. I'm surprised around here when they drop off to banks and atms there are 2 armed guards...gotta be alert cuz some of these mofos will challenge you.

@chucky, for a moment there I thought you were talking 'bout ALL the people at the parking lot...
When you have a child/ children your 1st thought in the morning and last thoughts of the evening are of them and their well-being. Even after they're grown. 💖
They literally hunting us errrday "LeTryingtohopintogetawaycar James"
Lol, he is the last person I would listen to for advise, with the exception of Mr. Potato Head and heels up Harris.
Dad in the Pink shirt protecting that kid was awesome to see. Also I wouldnt be surprised if that SUV was in on it.
Never trust someone that has to back into a parking spot, especially if they are taking two spots near the storefront.
In the Oil & Gas industry, we are taught and told to always reverse park. Studies show less chance of parking lot accidents when leaving, and incase there is a blowout at the rig✌🏼
@@rendezvu175 Lots of blowouts at the local Walmart.
Also a lot of car enthusiasts like to show off. I wouldn't go THT far
I ALWAYS park so that the front of the vehicle points out, either by driving through or by backing in. Given the number vans, mini vans, and SUVs, you are blind when backing out of a parking slot.
Shoutout to dude in the pink shirt
I absolutely agree with you!! Pink shirt dad is a hero and a true man.
That dark SUV drove off even faster than the suspect car!
This is the parking lot that insurance adjusters have nightmares about.
Are you in good hands?
In my small city the police department doesn't respond to 'accidents' in parking lots.
Why the hell are there so many cars blocking the lanes?
I checked street view and signs allow parcel pickup.
Probably trying to negotiate the armored car that's taking up half the road
That guard is insanely lucky he didnt get shot
IN MY VIEW
I was proud of the Armored Truck Employee doing his job protecting his charge. He was fast and prepared to fend off the PATHETIC LOW-LIFE robber.
RIGHT !!!
Dam to protect money that isn’t yours like that is crazy !!!! Almost cost he’s life !!
@@314murdacapitall I guarantee you he was only looking to go home safe , the money is insured.
@@314murdacapitall Years ago, I may have agreed with you, but times have changed. I remember reading reports on robberies where the victim was pushed and even assaulted. But now, people are getting killed, even after surrendering their valuables.
@@314murdacapitall almost cost *his life. Well, that money didn't belong to him either, it belongs to the companies that rightfully got paid.
THE GAURD WAS WALKING VERY CASUALLY AND NOT PAYING ATTENTION ON THE SURROUNDINGS AT ALL,
Should have been parked next ro sidewalk with exit door facing building.... I think.
@@tanny1229 AGREED
It WAS very sloppy and probably broke all kinds of company protocols. It’s just by the grace of God that everyone’s still alive with no lost money. If the robbers were willing to be so brazen - at 4:30 in the afternoon... in a packed parking lot - to go for it, they might have done it anyway. But agreed.. no situational awareness at all.
Exactly

You must know all about that. You sound like a real winner.
That guy that jumped on top of his loved one. What a man 🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
OMG! The driver of the grey car should be given some type of award, at least he deserves father of the year!!!! It looks like his child was at the front of the car and he got out he got out, ran around the caround the car push the kid to the ground and covered him with his own body and stayed up and stayed up just high enough to see what was going on!!!
