Hey Hun x the only products that don't need a UV lamp are acrylic and nail polish. If you want to use gel you need a UV lamp. Hope this helps💕🌺

what kind of gel do I have to look for (like the right terminology) to have gels that you can take between your finger like that? I bought jelly gel for the first time thinking it was thick enough to to that, but it's sticky and stringy (i bought venalisa jelly gel). I don't really know if with the one i bought i can make texture since it's so stringy, but that also might be because I don't have enough ecperience yet.

Hey, the name varies depending on the brand but essentially you’re looking for a hard gel that’s thicker than polygel.
