An Expanse total overhaul would absolutely be a possibility I can see happening... And it wouldn't take as much work to do as some of the other franchises...
@@shilohmc given the footage out there of the ship builder, you could literally design some very Expanse-esque looking ships, especially for the Belters and Earth -- Mars might take some more work -- without really needing to add much in the way of mod content...

I think a great IP to mod in would be Gundam and giant robos. Possibly somehow make your ship a transforming giant robo similar to what was found in japanese media from the last few decades, or even Armored Core like mech. So many great ideas provided the game and creation kit supports. Edit: Forgot Robotech. Robotech is also Nasa punkish too.
I would think that Fallout mods would be high on the list: a ruined Earth and, theoretically, those assets already exist in-engine, depending on how far Creation 2.0 has changed the game, so to speak. And while Power Armour would be cool, I really only say this because all I really want is a Nuka-Girl spacesuit (with certain gaps filled for immersion's sake, of course); I'd rather not spend 90% of the game dressed as Mr. Stay-Puft :P
I was also thinking that Elder scroll fans may make the entire planet or at least Tamriel in Starfield. But yes, make Earth into the Fallout Universe, that fits perfectly.
Agreed, I just have to keep throwing it out there and hope we can get people from Star Trek Online to see the potential for a complete overhaul. I don't know if we will ever see a True Star Trek RPG from the people who own the Licenses.
right also bounties, setting up settlements for NPC's, defend against raider attacks, smuggling/delivery... I just hope they have some deeper game player for all these repeatable quest.

All right so this is one of my predictions coming out of nowhere I'm going to guess that the entirety of the beginning of the campaign is going to revolve around the old neighborhood which is basically the original solar system that we currently live in IRL and I think that when we are on earth we're going to find remnants of like Vault-Tec and the zetas I think it's going to happen it's just too good of a golden opportunity to pass up and I also think that modders are going to turn Earth into fallout in starfield I would say with about 85% sureness that they would turn starfield into fallout on Earth
Lol, I think I had this conversation in the discord but we speculated the same thing. Also, I think someone will make a world for the Elder Scrolls. I truly expect your right, that there will be a lot of Fallout easter eggs all over Earth.

Ok so 1st prediction is i will spend hundreds of hours playing this game, though the vast majority of that will be modded. 2nd prediction is that BGS storytelling skill has not been invested in. They are that Dungeon Master who has an amazing world, and then they railroad the players bc they have a story they want to tell in a specific way. They will hamper themselves because of my guess that their design goal is that they want you to be able to do everything on one character. So there will not really be a way to lock yourself out of any content except for a few small instances. 3rd something Todd said in the lead up to release will be shown to be a very wrong comment. Perhaps a lie, perhaps Lionhead-esq unrestrained enthusiasm, or perhaps their own internal definition being different than common. Regardless itll be akin to "16x the detail" and "200 (2000?) I think your right, they shoehorn themselves into a specific story and it feels shallow. The Hyperbole Todd has laid down in the past has been heavy but how they have tempered down the expectations like, no land vehicles or atmospheric flight makes it feel like they are going to let it speak for itself. And all the background chatter of people who have seen it or played it has been really positive. Let's hope for the best and bust their balls if they let us down lol. Hey, I just thought of something, a lot people use MO2 to organize and load mods since it tends to be better then Vortex. As far as I know MO2 no longer has support to improve it and keep it update. Does anyone know if a good mod organizer will be made for Starfield, since not MO2 will work with Starfield?
A lot of mod authors use MO2 over Nexus but I have a Lifetime premium membership with Nexus, so I haven't really messed with MO2 much but I'm sure modders will update MO2 for Starfield.
Oh if it's a bomb, more than just Bethesda fans would be sad. All the Sci-fi fans who want to mod in their ideal setting would be in rough shape too. But I would take the bet, that this game Metacritic will be well over 80%.
my prediction is starfield will suck be a buggy glitchy mess barely playable unless on amd nasa speck computers and fanboys like yourself will still love it and hype it to the max as a great game. lets face it its a bugthesda game. will be no diferent than fallout 4 the repetitive go fetch procedural crap where everywhere you went the settlement system was forced in your face because it was a new concept.. or the fallout 76 mess that was a joke to play and filled with micro transactions or the new redfall game that they produced and stamped there name on without even testing to see if it was decent before taking a cut, and i forgot to mention skyrim that game that launched with so many bugs and glitches that they called them features because fanboys got a kick. that was never fixed in ohhh idk how many diferent versions 9 i think... that even to this day after remaster still has the same bugs n glitches in them because the devs are so lazy
You can make those predictions without attacking the fans of the game. He is litterally working on a mod team that completely overhauled the settlement system as well as fleshed out the unused Gunner faction. I think he knows more than most what the limitations of BGS Vanilla games are.

You are completely entitled to your opinion. I have my doubts and fears of what Starfield may lack but the only time Bethesda has let me down was 76. If they aren't your thing that's fine but lazy? naw, people still finding out new things in Fallout 4. They put a lot into their games. The game engine isn't perfect, not the best main quest and clearly not the top in graphics but I can honestly play them now without mods and enjoy them. If you can't, that's great, you do you.
