Yes, I am back with a new video and this time it for Invidcible Contest Round 3. The concept of this round is to illustrate or create a "character study or couple study of your favorite character and to tell their story." Therefore, I chose my new recent favorite character, Avatar Wan. Wan is the epitome of nobility, honor, compassion and selflessness (hence the title "selflessness"). Basically, he grew up in poverty living in a tree house with his friends Jaya and Yao, and stole food from the wealthy Chou clan in order to survive. This particular character grew up to be the first avatar, and this man started a quest to maintain peace and balance in the spiritual and materialistic world. He became "the bridge" between these two worlds because he lived among the spirits and the humans, knowing them both equally.
Nevertheless, Wan isn't perfect, he has flaws, after all it was his fault that Vaatu and Raava separated, but because of his mistake it led to the creation of an avatar with Raava's help. Wan is an inspiration because he never gave up no matter what obstacles he faced. He is most definitely unique because he accomplished something no other human in his world has, and he chose to become something that could have killed him. Avatar Wan's story may have ended sadly, but his legacy will continue with the rest of the avatars.
In this video, I tried to incorporate every possible significant aspect of The Beginnings Part 1&2, and trust me I could not include every single one into a 2 minute and 24 seconds video. I did not want to extend the video for too long because the audience may grow bored. But I tried my best and worked hard to achieve a decent representation of Avatar Wan's story. I know some scenes may go a little fast but I had to match it with the beats of the song.
Also I just wanted to clarify some technical errors such as the misspelling of "Raava" I apologize for this I didn't realize until it was too late. In addition, some of the background music of the episodes can be heard and I could not remove them, again I am really sorry for this. As always, ENJOY&RATE&COMMENT! -Serina
