    LOVE these pieces! Posca are so great for simple yet bold art, my favorite! I honestly can’t wait to see more Posca videos from you!
    I also wouldn’t worry too much about getting more colors! It’s amazing what you can create with just a few. I think that’s part of what makes Posca pens so special. They’re not one of those “collect them all” art supply and really showcase that “less is more”!

    • @Zaccura
      @Zaccura  4 роки тому +13

      Aww thank you so much, Kasey!! Honestly the way you use Poscas inspired me a bunch to give'em a go myself, (as you are the QUEEN of simple yet bold art haha😆)!
      And great point about them being a supply that showcases "less is more". It was weird at first because of how many layers I usually work with, but in the end, it was really fun! My brain's already thinking up more ideas that'll utilize the limited selection.

    I like the red and black one best. I got into Poscas through mixed media art journaling online classes. (That was a mouthful, lol) They write over almost anything and aren’t water soluble like gel pens, so you still can glaze over them if you want to. They don’t clog as much as gel pens do over textured media. So they’re invaluable if you like to use collage elements that get glued down with gel medium, which tends to gunk up a lot of other writing instruments.

    I've been playing around with mixing my art and graphic design. I haven't tried to use Posca pens to mix design and art but it looks fun so maybe I will try it. I am really impressed with your illustrations and I especially like the yellow and green one. What can I say... I love green. Also, if it's not too much trouble, what paper did you use? I am always looking for a good paper that can handle Posca pens.

    • @Zaccura
      @Zaccura  4 роки тому

      Haha well I knew I would be covering the sketch with the paint so I tried not to make it too fancy.
      But also, the lighter colors a little transparent, so you can still see your lines under it (which helps guide you with details like eyes and stuff). ;)

    • @Zaccura

    The first drawing is really similar to what I had in mind, from the blue hair, to the pink sleeveless shirt and blowing a pink bubblegum. And I had this visual idea of a character since March before I even discovered this video. 😰
    Now I’m not so sure if I can draw her again.
    Any advise or suggestions?
    Either way, love the video and your Posca art. Keep up the good work! 👍

    • @Zaccura
      @Zaccura  4 роки тому +1

      Oh my! You know something similar has happened to me before in the past. What I did was just change my design/idea until it was definitely different, but one that I still liked. If you plan on drawing this character again and again like an OC, then that's what I would suggest, just so you can be sure your OC is your own and not attached to anyone else.
      But if you just want to make a single stand-alone illustration, then perhaps when you post it, just mention in the description area what you just explained here. That should be fine.
