If i remember correctly, the Burger King Tigers came two to a pack along with cover card if you bought specific sandwich. Detroit BKs only. We stopped after a card show. (Mickey Lolich was signing at the show)...God, I'm old
Damn I wish I would have taken better care of my cards from back in the days!!! But don’t we all??? I HAD EVERY Burger King - Detroit Tiger card that came out from around here!!! Awesome Memories!!! Saginaw in the House
I recently got a case from an 80 year old lady from a flea market and every Billy Ripken has the FF Error and all the Randy Johnsons have the visible marlboro sign. I'm loaded on them now. I sent two ripkens to psa and two Johnsons to see if they label marlboro ad.
All I can say I love your brothers channel and what he does but you have f.... Amazed me man. You're amazing on what you started out with and now where you have landed. And you're realistic and there's no crap on your content. The last Bruce
Next time you're in the area (I'm about 10 minutes from Juniata Cards) I have a big collection of cards I need to offload. I'm not collecting anymore and want someone who would appreciate them to have them.
That would be awesome! I hope to go to Leighty's one more time this season this coming Sunday if you'd like to meet up then. My email is thepastisalive1984@gmail.com.
That 88 Topps display is amazing. O Pee Chee up here in Canada never did anything like that. O Pee Chee's main money maker was hockey, then baseball. Yeah @9:15 seems like a food packaged premium, thats how Post and Kellogs would package the cards in a food product, same plastic. I have Sega Genesis and Sega CD cards/ stickers in similar packaging that Post did in the cereals in 1992/1993
Hey man as soon as I seen the picture of this video that's literally like my hometown that's where I live that's awesome that somebody like you guys came to my hometown pretty much that place is a good shop to get cards they have an upstairs that has cards a downstairs there's only two good spots downstairs that has Parts though but they have decent prices
It all depends how they are/were stored. I've opened packs of 94 and 95 that were complete bricks so I would likely avoid those. 2001 is notorious for bricking as well as a few other years around then. It's a gamble buying a box of any of those years.
That 78 pack with Mota is from a send in through Zest soap. Hard to find but no stars and was printed in english and Spanish. Joaquin Andujar,Bert Campaneris,Ed Figueroa,Willie Montanez but his pic is different from the regular 78 set and Mota, Good find.
I go to Big Valley about once a month. It's about a 45-minute drive from where I live. I always leave with something. The one criticism I have about the place is that the folks behind the registers pick the price tags off the items with either their fingernails or a plastic scraper and sometimes damage the surface of cards that are only in penny sleeves, so I usually only buy cards in toploaders from there. Other antique malls I've been too don't mess with the price tags like this. Like you, I think the prices are comparable and sometimes slightly better than Ebay comps. My favorite cards of this video are those BK Tigers. Never saw them before. Nice find and great video!
Congrats on the Desert Shield Chipper!! I've always liked that set and Nice Find on the 1978 Topps Zest Set. Those sets a very hard to find sealed. You had to send in 2 Bath Size Zest wrappers in to Redeem 1 complete set.
I recently found a sealed factory set of 2004 Topps for $15. I bought it and opened it to find a 792 card brick. 😂 the Yadi took a lil bit of paper loss but the Greinke was perfect (so it wasn’t a total loss hahahaha)
Really cool cards from Joseph C. That Randy Johnson is nice, however I think your custom Error is gonna take the win there. Absolutely LOVE your Chipper! Congratulations on that one, bro. Thanks for sharing
Hi Jon this is Michael from California am looking for a rookie Ozzie smith Baseball card this is grated in minted or outstanding condition and a Nolan Ryan Rookie baseball card grated in mint or better thatmint condition can you please help me out I would greatly appreciate it I understand if are hesitant to buy the card but you can truly be reassured that I will pay you the full amount because I am having a really hard time finding those baseball cards in good condition and Jon I really enjoy your UA-cam channel and I really hope your sports card and memorabilia shop is really going great
So many times I have discovered something new while watching your videos. I bought several of the regular Topps rookies of Jose Fernandez this weekend, but did not have the one you showed. It appears to be a relatively common image variation. Also had no clue about those 1978 Tigers cards. Great stuff!
If I ever went to one of these card venues,I would delve into the 60s and 70s cards!🤩🤩🤩
Very cool
4:36 that is where you find the real deals on wheels
Great pick up!!
Cool place.
Nice Big Unit,and Chipper Jones
Nice Maz & 78 Topps!
That Chipper is sweet, for sure on my list
The two Lee Smith cards were my favorite and great bargains. Thanks for the great video as always.
I liked the Clemente and the Corbin Burnes rookie
Love the video. Good cards.
My favorite cards were the ones you didn't pick up- the Hank Aarons. The REAL home run king!
If i remember correctly, the Burger King Tigers came two to a pack along with cover card if you bought specific sandwich. Detroit BKs only. We stopped after a card show. (Mickey Lolich was signing at the show)...God, I'm old
Those 2016 chrome update megas for $50 aren't a bad deal
I know I'm not the only one who saw the sign "please do not shoplift" 🤣🤣🤣almost dead.
Those Burger King Rookies are sweet!!!
Love the Randy Johnson card, since I didn't see any orioles
I like the burger king cards the most
Damn I wish I would have taken better care of my cards from back in the days!!! But don’t we all??? I HAD EVERY Burger King - Detroit Tiger card that came out from around here!!! Awesome Memories!!! Saginaw in the House
I need a place like that nearby
I recently got a case from an 80 year old lady from a flea market and every Billy Ripken has the FF Error and all the Randy Johnsons have the visible marlboro sign. I'm loaded on them now. I sent two ripkens to psa and two Johnsons to see if they label marlboro ad.
That's amazing. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous!
Jon that is a very nice place Big Valley Antique Mall lot of baseball cards and graded certified slabs do they have a website
Brent
I think Verlander is in the Detroit team picture lol. I could be wrong
He isn’t ad the team pictures were from the the previous year and or early in 2005. Verlander wasn’t called up until September of 2005.
Shine the light on the right side of Randy Johnson's rookie card the correct error which is the hardest to find mint
The glut of 2021 retail product... Lots of dealers with lots of boxes they paid lots for
Looks like someone got some boxes off the back of the truck
1984th view! Nice pickups man
That 1978 Alan Trammell Burger King has been on my radar a long time. I got the Morris the Trammell has eluded me
3 team cards and a checklist what a pack lol
All I can say I love your brothers channel and what he does but you have f.... Amazed me man. You're amazing on what you started out with and now where you have landed. And you're realistic and there's no crap on your content. The last Bruce
Those Alf cards needed some inserts.
Can't find any place like Belleville down in Alabama

Love 💕 the older vintage , but Chipper is my favorite
Bro all the team cards and ends with a checklist……furious as a child 🤬🤬🤬

as a Tigers fan, I love those Burger King tigers cards!
Wow congrats on the Chipper, that's epic!!
Thanks Max!
Market is flooded with new trash. I’ll stick to my 1930’s to 1960’s vintage baseball cards.
A little high on the retail packs .
Nothing worse than a thrift store or flea market that charges ebay prices for everything.
Couldn't agree with you more!
Oh those Tigers, 84 world series Champs
My favorites are those unusual 1978 packs. Congratulations on the Chipper! Are you going to get it authenticated?
Love the BK Tigers RCs. Too bad the regular Topps RCs had to be shared that year. The BKs look way better.
I miss the appalachians, I miss fog. Texas sucks. Great video.
Thank you! The Appalachians are a beauty especially when coated with fog.
That Marlboro Randy Johnson is so tough to find!
What years of Topps and baseball from the mid 1990s to mid 2000s will likely have less bricking of the cards?
It all depends how they are/were stored. I've opened packs of 94 and 95 that were complete bricks so I would likely avoid those. 2001 is notorious for bricking as well as a few other years around then. It's a gamble buying a box of any of those years.

I have an unopened, Zest test issue.
Your not fully clean unless your zest fully clean.
Great video. The random ALF pack was funny.
Great video! Thanks for not talking while showing all the packs and boxes in the beginning of the video. Sometimes, it’s nice to just look. 👍 good job
Thanks Eli! I appreciate you watching.
Them Burger King cards are absolutely Awesome. The Mota and Clemente cards are Cool as well. Great Finds.
How did E. James get into the HOF?
The past really is alive.
Great Video Jon

You weren’t kidding about the goldmine. Did I see ALF cards?
Wasn't that Chipper sent to get authenticated guarantee first? Pretty surprised about that.
Unfortunately it was not. It's a gamble but I took my chances.
Congrats Jon!....Now you gotta chase that 52 Mantle! 😉
Lol how much were they charging for that skybox Jordan? It’s not rare and pretty cheap. I personally have around 30 of them mint.
Congrats on the Desert Shield Chipper!! I've always liked that set and Nice Find on the 1978 Topps Zest Set. Those sets a very hard to find sealed. You had to send in 2 Bath Size Zest wrappers in to Redeem 1 complete set.
Thank you! I appreciate the info. I am going to keep it sealed.
Excited at the idea of a glimpse into your multi sport rookie box. Sometime b4 2024 let's pencil it in
Hey Jon! Great video and haul! My favorite card is the Randy Johnson error. Such an iconic card!
Was that pete rose rookie only $125 ??
That was the Willie Stargell rookie, not Pete Rose.
Sweet pickups! Funny, I just bought the Whitaker BK card (posted it on the Facebook page)
Love the 78 Topps pickups and the Clemente -- great deals.
I'd have torn right into that 78 pack ... have to wonder if a Trammel/Molitor or a Murray RC is hiding in there
Not going to find the Molitor rookie as those are cards made for Zest soap. Worth about $1
Or did you mean that specific pack he had
@@tangovictor7407 the specific pack he had. They were made for Spanish speaking markets and it's the whole set in the cellophane pack
Desert Shield Chipper is a nice pick up. I just pack pulled my first Yadi rookie last week out of a blaster
I recently found a sealed factory set of 2004 Topps for $15. I bought it and opened it to find a 792 card brick. 😂 the Yadi took a lil bit of paper loss but the Greinke was perfect (so it wasn’t a total loss hahahaha)
Congratulations on the grail pick up!! Thanks for the video!!
Love the Burger king cards of the 3 Tigers , more cards for my want list.
Great finds. Congratulations on the Desert Shield Chipper Love the display.
Really cool cards from Joseph C. That Randy Johnson is nice, however I think your custom Error is gonna take the win there. Absolutely LOVE your Chipper! Congratulations on that one, bro. Thanks for sharing
I love seeing what everyone is picking up. Congrats on the Chipper
Love the flea market vids. Solid deal on those Lee Smith cards
That custom 89 Fleer Randy Johnson is so awesome. 🤣 I love it. Congrats on the grail Chipper addition. Love those 78 BK Tigers rookies as well.
U trolled me by saying grail then showing a chipper lol

Glad to hear it Joe! I was thinking that Jose must be a photo variation. Strange that I've never seen it before until now.
