I don't know how people listened not to the original one no body could ever sing that like freddie(queen) cannot replicate this genius masterpiece only by queen happy you loved it good reaction
Great reaction. Freddie Mercury had 3 unfinished songs so he kneaded them together into this masterpiece. There are several theories about the meaning of the song, but nobody knows the truth, because Freddie never explained his lyrics, especially not this one.
It was really bittersweet because at the end Freddie Mercury died of AIDS, so it was almost like he had a premonition of his death, when he says "momma, life has just begun and now I've gone and thrown it all away"... His death was a huge blow to alot of us fans, although he told the world that he had aids, none of us believed he would die that quickly!! Huge sadness!!! Huge loss!! RIP FREDDIE MERCURY
Freddie rarely talked about what that song meant some say he had some songs he joined together to make it but between you and me i think he wrote it for the audience to join in with he always loved starting a mass sing song at Queen gigs and this was really the first of many everybody could join in with. When asked once what his favourite instrument was his reply was "the audience darling" lol now if you have not check out an audience in 2017 singing Bohemian Rhapsody Hyde Park at a Green day gig then you should, its like Freddie is conducting them from heaven.
Saw them at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, they put on a fantastic show. You should check out "Killer Queen" and "You're My Best Friend", two excellent songs that don't get much attention.
Nice reaction! The song is written like a tragic opera. He begins by confessing a murder to his mother. In the second verse he gives himself over to the authorities. The middle operatic section is a trial for his soul between heaven and hell, then he becomes angry and rebellious about his situation in the rock section, but in the end, the song finally resolves and he accepts his fate. The song goes through the 5 stages of grieve. That is the most literal interpretation of the lyrics, however many people do believe that the song really holds a deeper meaning. Many people believe that the man that he kills is a reference to himself, he is killing part of himself. Freddie Mercury never gave out the meaning of his lyrics, he really wanted to people to find their own meaning in the lyrics, he wanted people to connect the music to their own personal lives. In truth no one actually knows what the songs really means. Bohemian Rhapsody has often been voted as the best song of all time, it is also one of the best selling songs of all time. The song is actually a very complex song it has 49 different cords while most songs today only have 4 different cords, the song has about 180 vocal overdubs. It was very difficult to record this song in 1975. The music video for the song is also known as the first music video that was shot on purpose for promotion. Bohemian Rhapsody have charted in three different decades, it has appeared on the charts in 1975, 1992 and 2018. You should check out Somebody To Love from Queen live in Montreal 1981, Freddie Mercury is most often voted as the best vocalist of all time, Queen are known for having some the best harmonies, they had 3 members would could sing. Freddie Mercury sang and did every genre of music, he even recorded an crossover opera album with one of the best opera sopranos of all time. That is also something to check out, since it seem like you are interested in vocalist. Check out the song Barcelona (used as the theme song of the Olympics in 1992) - Freddie Mercury & Montserrat Caballe at La Nit 1987. As to the meaning of Bohemian Rhapsody, I personally believe it is in the title of the song, a Bohemian is an artist. A Rhapsody is an unstructured movement in classical music, or it can can be a story or an epic journey, tale or poem about a person's live. So in my personal opinion Bohemian Rhapsody is really the life story of an entertainer, artist, performer or singer. You have to kill part of yourself to be successful in the industry. You also have to entertain other people no matter what you might be going through in your own life.
Were the authorities going to get him or was he going to disappear? Telling his mom sorry and going away. Fleeing from what he was and create a new person without a new background and history?
@@jimwilcox2964 That could perhaps be it. But I think it is more about him taking responsibility for his own actions in the second verse. He gives himself over to the police. He starts off as young boy, but he finally becomes a man by taking responsibility. When you think about the journey of a young adolescent character that is often a theme you will see.
Bohemian Rhapsody was the story of him coming out as gay to his parents and how they didn't expect it. Also the record company didn't want him to come out either (opera part), the rock part is of him saying 'well I am who I am ' and the last part is him excepting the fact that them would never except him ' it is what it is ' . Queen are legends!

To my knowledge the only movie's containing 'Bohemian Rhapsody' are 'Wayne's World' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody', but it does also feature in the TV series 'Good Omens' and probably a few others. Loved your reaction.....there are masterpieces and then there's Bohemian Rhapsody......5 parts to this song...Acapello, Ballad, Operatic, Rock Anda Coda.........you must follow the storyline..........look up Scaramouch and Bismilla...that will explain the Operatic section
I have been listening to this song since the first day it came out in the USA and I never get tired of it. Great music and performers are timeless. Thank you for reacting to this. Freddie never said what this song was about, he wanted to leave it up to the listener to decide.
Rhapsody means different genre's of music. Freddie said the parts were 3 different songs that he put together.... so, scaramouche is like a jester, a showman, (possibly Freddie) Fandango is a dance (possibly John..named disco Deacy because he could bop). Galileo is a famous astronomer (possibly Brian as he studied Astronomy), Figaro a famous Opera ( possibly Roger for his high notes) Bismilah means "in the name of God" in Arabic...Freddie’s family were Parsi Indian and were Zoroastrian in faith. Freddie would tell anyone who asked it was just poetry and gobbledegook... Even Brian and Roger do not really know the meaning behind it all. Some will say it's Freddie killing himself as he is..straight, to become Gay... Any where the wind blows...where life may take him. Remember "so you think you can stone me and spit in my eye" is relevant to their religion as homosexuality is forbidden and frowned upon...you were stoned to death. It is said that Freddie fought with his sexuality. Also the beginning where all 4 were singing, is just Freddie with lots of over dubs of himself... Brian and Roger said he was so good that sometimes the overdubs got lost in together because Freddie would song it exactly the same over and over.. so pretty much merged into one and would lose the lots of voices sound. No autotune in those days...it wasn't invented until 1996. You HAD to be able to sing back then. And yes, they could sing. Freddie has 4 Octaves in range. He could sing anything...as you delve into their catalogue they did 20s to 90s ..Thrash metal, Rock, Rock n roll, soul to R & B, Pop and Jazz. Freddie even stepped into the Opera arena in 87 with Montserrat Caballe with an album called Barcelona. So try Stone cold crazy...Thrash metal/ prog Rock Crazy little thing called love ....Rock n roll 50s Another one bites the dust. ..disco funk 39...folk Lazing on a Sunday afternoon ..20s 30s Dreamers Ball...jazz style... Wonderful reaction!!! And , I'm sorry, but you'll never get a definitive explanation of the meaning. Theories abound, but only one person every really knew, and he's not telling.
The guitar player with the curly hair has a PhD in Astrophysics. That blew my mind. You can keep the Beatles and the Stones....I will take Queen anytime.
As an A Cappella group I don't think there's another group that does this song justice like Pentatonix, you should check out their version. Brian May, Queen’s guitarist, shared the Pentatonix version of Bohemian Rhapsody on his Facebook page. The 1st time I heard this song, ions ago, I was caught off guard, then slowly started taking it in & now, it's hard to listen to this song and NOT rock out to it. One guy that did a reaction to this, noticed there's 6 sections to this song (intro, ballad section, guitar solo, operatic section, hard rock section & the outro), Freddy Mercury had such a phenomenal voice. His is truly missed & was a rock legend.

Everybody is oblivious to the meaning of this song, personally I believe it was Freddie's attempt to write a mini opera, also a chance to do something like 'The March of the Black Queen', but with the time and money it needed to be perfect. The song 'Mamma Mia' was also written in 1975, and was released the month before so I doubt it's title came from here, but Queen did inspire a lot of performers, who knows what Lady Gaga would have called herself if not for 'Radio Ga Ga'.
It's so wonderful watching someone become a Queen fan.

*******************QUEEN = GENUIS***************** Now you know why Angelina wanted to do a cover of this song!
Yes I understand now ☺️
Great reaction ! Please react to more Queen :)
This song is original i buy this 1975 it was very before in time 1975
I hope he starts from the beginning!!!
Masterpiece
Love Queen 😍
Next, plz check n react to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody Fingerstyle cover by Alipbata 🤩

Lol 😂 that’s too funny, but in Order the pay the correct respect to the artist you must!! Have Some information to give to the viewers, are it pointless, but I got to say o don’t always get it right 😄 but thanks for stopping by I appreciate it.

Mamma mia is simply Italian for My mom. Also, it's a common expression of surprise or shock in that language, just like Oh my God in English.
Thank you really appreciate it 😊
It’s a metaphor...not applying to Freddie...he wrote songs and said people should put their own meaning to it🤩
Everybody is oblivious to the meaning of this song, personally I believe it was Freddie's attempt to write a mini opera, also a chance to do something like 'The March of the Black Queen', but with the time and money it needed to be perfect.
The song 'Mamma Mia' was also written in 1975, and was released the month before so I doubt it's title came from here, but Queen did inspire a lot of performers, who knows what Lady Gaga would have called herself if not for 'Radio Ga Ga'.
Maybe she would've called herself Lady Rhapsody?😁
❤️ MARCH OF THE BLACK QUEEN ❤️
@@marciebulsaraorcutt Ooohhh Very good, Marcie!
Someone made a video some years ago, acting the lyrics as literally as they could
@Sinelo that be very interesting to see really 😊, thanks for stopping by really appreciate the support.
Absolutely "Somewhat Sad.."... .
This was the first ever Music Video
'Mamma mia' is a commonly used expression in Italy.
It was the crime then the denial then the acceptance
Realy you never hear this song before? I cant belive.
Like I said I might have heard bit of it but never the full song 🎵 for sure 😉
This was the first real video ever
🥰
This song is actually about Freddie facing up to being gay. The man in the song that he's killed is the Freddie who was pretending to be straight.
