Takeoff from (BJL) Banjul International Airport, the Gambia

This video show you the departure and take of from the Banjul International Airport in the Gambia. Starting with a nice view on the Departure and Arrivals terminal, with the famous Luigi's Terrace outside catering place on the left, we are turning left over the runway towards the beginning of runway 32. The Dutch pursers text I cannot translate for you. The airports fire department building is visible on 1:30 and a glimpse on the old decayed airplane wrecks of Gambia Airways in the parking spots around 3:00 or so. Fully fueled this 737 Max 9 airplane needs almost the whole runway for takeoff. Crossing the Brikama Highway, with a view on Tawuto and old Yundum. The Selagi Forest park, followed by a view on the Dalaba Estates and the new Senegambia Highway fly-over with the roundabout under it and all the work in progress there on 8:32. We are saying goodbye to the Gambian coastline with a view on Bijilo Beach and a last glimpse on my favorite hotel Coco Ocean and the Aquaview apartments (where I currently live temporarily) on 8:48 in this video. On 9:00 you can see a coast overview all the way up to the Tanji Bird Reserve Eco camp and the Bald Cape behind it. A last look at the wing and the always some gray clouds and until next time Gambia!
