When I fed cows 1 evening, our free-range Angus bull attacked & sent me flying 16 ft thru the air. I landed against a metal frame, bruising left side of my ribs. He charged again to finish me off. But my cow dawg rushed in, sunk his teeth into the bulls nose & chased him away to never-never land. Dawg came back checked on me, walked me back to the farmhouse, looking towards the direction where the bull ran, growling the whole time, but sorta whimpering when he checked to see if I was ok . My dawg saved my life that day. I had to treat bull for dogbite wounds for about 2 weeks. My dawg tore his face and tore his ass up. The bulls name was Buster. He lived up to his name.

Our dog woke me in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve years ago. Thinking he needed to go outside, I got up and as I walked through the living room I saw flame and smoke near the Christmas tree. We'd gone to bed and left one candle lit by mistake. Yeah, the dog's owner let his dog grab that kitten on purpose. I doubt he realized the mother cat was there and she tore his dog to pieces. A cat in my childhood did that to a neighbor's German Shepherd when the dog tried attacking me once. That reminds me of my brother Joseph whose dog will come between his hand and a neighbor who is trying to shake his hand, especially if the neighbor calls my brother loudly. The dog mistakes shouting for a quarel.
I grew up with Saint Bernard Dogs. Man, talk about a great dog for children. You MUST go through obedience training with them, that's mandatory, because they simply don't realize their size or strength but they're fabulous dogs for children. VERY loyal, easy going around others but also quite watchful. Don't try to get between them and "their" kids. My dad did that once and our older Saint bit him. To be fair, he was trying to hit my sister (my dad was pretty abusive to us kids) and Andy stepped in to protect her. Dad never tried hitting any of us again. The dogs simply wouldn't allow it. Mom let us go anywhere we wanted to so long as we took one of our Saints with us. They'd probably have drooled you to death but nobody messed with us kids if we had one of the dogs with us. She knew they'd take care of us.

PET KITTY CUTE ✨
God bless these animals and people.
That reminds me of my brother Joseph whose dog will come between his hand and a neighbor who is trying to shake his hand, especially if the neighbor calls my brother loudly. The dog mistakes shouting for a quarel.
So where's the eagle and the lizard??
My german shepards Zoey and Eowyn chased away a pack of coyotes off our farm. M by baby girls saved my family, our 60+ 🐓, and our six alpacas 🦙
that's why i like dogs ❤❤
My favourite one was when the dog was doing a cpr😂😂😂😂😂
