The spikes in it reminds me the intro interlude that appears; maybe those spikes are a reference for like the concept of “the fame monster” (as an event or even creature that has been seen in other tours). Here she’s singing to McQueen, who sadly passed away. With all this said, I have two thoughts: 1. The statue is also a reference of the concept of the fame monster, but in a tribute when someone dies. So, she using it in the Chromatica ball… well… y’all know about what Chromatica talks about. :( 2. The spikes are pain, are the fake crossing her body causing damage, but also they’re taking over her body (as the first interlude). As her tweet said: fame is prison
