Funny, my interpretation of "what would Rouge's Mom's personality be like?" is somewhat similar to yours except she's only half-soft loving and half-alluring/seductive. With her soft side giving Rouge the nickname "Pumpkin" (A nod to the Pumpkin Hill stage in SAdventure2, even though Rouge hasn't been there in the story). There is more to my adaptation but my many attempts at making this comment has reminded me that it would make the comment too long, so I'm leaving it as the way it is. OH BTW your line "Do you want a sandwich after your long flight?" ALSO reminded me that my head-canon for Rouge is that when she isn't on some government mission, she would sometimes visit her parent's (yes, parents!) mansion (and yes, MANSION!) and would go straight to the kitchen to make herself a nice PB&J for not just a quick snack, but also briefly relive her childhood memories of being in the household. I’m just being scientific for the purpose of being annoying… (but yeah I totally agree with you) Vampire bats are not vicious or anything, they make tiny wounds with their frontal teeth, and then they lick the blood. Their tongues work kind like straws, so it’s a mixture of licking and slurping. They also tend to share blood meals with the ones at the colonies (like mothers tending pups). So imagine Knuckles asking Rouge to bring him a lunch while guarding the Master Emerald, the fun interaction that would be 🙃
