I could not agree more, drives me crazy!! Unfortunately it's not even just high beams any more, a lot of modern cars normal lights are brighter than my high beams. Part of the frustration, for me at least, is that sheer white/blue brightness. There have been multiple times where I think someone's brights are on, only for me to realize as I get closer that, No, those are just normal headlights on a BMW...
In Ohio its labled as a minor misdemeanor which is a maximum fine of $150

are that many people that clueless? mine turn off automatically when it even thinks someone is nearby, and honestly is super annoying because they turn off too much when no one is nearby. My gripe is that these newer cars with SUPER FUCKING BRIGHT LED LAMPS as regular headlights are what is blinding people. All these damn SUVs and shit look like they still have brights on even after they turn them off

Have you ever seen those adaptive headlights BMW uses on their higher end cars. It's really cool. You dont have to turn off the high beams for incoming cars.
