It started as a peace march. But for the Moratorium generation, the day left protesters dismayed and disappointed.

Funny how this is the same news company that would ignore this and try to cover up incidents because of the LAPD

Lmao this is not about California hate, this is about police brutality, systemic racism against chicanos, social justice. The brown berets, which greatly helped organized the Chicano moratorium, promoted interracial class solidarity and were in alliance with the Black Panther Party who openly identified as communists. You are sore misinformed and uneducated to make this comment here. Doesn’t matter blue or red, urban or rural, white, black, Hispanic, Asian, etc unless you live off of the capital you own and leech off of others, all workers live under the oppressive boot of capitalism

Don't believe all the put-down of California it's politically motivated chatter. Outside my door is North Beach, a San Francisco community and it's sunny and the streets are full of people enjoying themselves, including plenty of tourists. We have lots of very good restaurants, friendly bars, some with music, interesting shops, street musicians busking, and if you want 'green' there's a dispensary. Cheers.
