Just that clinical finishing was missing for Ireland, at this level these chances when they come must be taken, and Gordon showed hes still a top class keeper.
It's a very young Ireland side I think as well so theres a lot to be positive about.
Definitely a penalty, possibly couldve been an earlier Scotland penalty as well.

I think playing Scotland is the shot in the arm Ireland needed to rediscover the passion of playing for your country that's perhaps been missing a bit lately for Ireland.
It was never going to be the same kind of game in Glasgow as Dublin.
If I had one criticism of Ireland it would be the way Ireland sat in and looked to counter Scotland when our attack broke down.
Tbf that almost worked, but in Dublin ireland went for it and got the rewards for being more ambitious.
Scotland went for it and got the reward in the end that their play probably just deserved though I couldnt have mumbled had the game finished all square.
Scotland , right now have better options to choose from and players playing at a higher level.
Ireland thumped Scotland at the Aviva and were close to something here , I'd hardly call that a disaster.
Scotland are still gelling and on an upwards trajectory but still have a way to go yet, we only have the 2 strikers and 1 is a championship player.
I'm certain ireland will whip Armenia and stay in this tier.
I hope that Scotland can get at least the draw in Krakow and go up a tier to the A section , not because we're that good but because we'll replace England and that will sicken them

As a Dunfermline Athletic fan, Kenny was our worst manager of the modern era bar one (Peter Grant last season). How the heck is he managing a national squad? Primary 5 kick about seems about his level
