It's okay, if u don't fail you're not even trying. Don't worry just follow this criteria. -Your price must be around 15-25$ if you have 10k budget. - there must be not more than 4 variations in the product. - revenue must be consistent in the top ten, at least 10 seller should have more than 5k revenue. - price must be consistent in the top ten. - rating must be 4.5 or above , or u will face returns. - margin must be 25-30%. - 70% must be FBA seller in top ten. - there must not be more than 4 seller have 1k reviews. - niche must not be brand dominant. - amazon must not be 3 times in top ten. And make sure to do niche analysis before source the product.

Just fyi, 95% of items on amazon are sold by Chinese sellers, which are most likely the manufacturers of these items. Competing with them is almost impossible. I was about to start FBA, but I am taking a step back to think more about it.
These steps are really good for understanding how Amazon FBA works , but later I started facing problems how to Manage PPC or to get reviews and also how to target the exact keywords which would make my products reach on the top . Later I was suggested about this tool panda-boom by a friend which helped me a lot to reach on an average of 15-20 sales per day .You can try this tool as well .

very helpful , I am doing Amazon FBA UK and sourcing from China, I think the key thing of doing FBA is to find professional suppliers and freight forwarder to handle your first leg for your Amazon FBA, like IRFREIGHT, highly recommended.

What I don’t understand is, why input links prices, BSR & go through that when you can just look at reviews & if it’s over 1,000 like you mentioned, you can just drop it from there. Following all your steps and I had a product in mind...Everything looked good and used your speadsheet to calculate the profit and the profit margin...but it doesn't take into account the cost of the product (and shipping). So it can be misleading if you only look at the amazon fees and then calculate the profit.

For example: my niche currently has 8 competitors but there is a lot of opportunity for improvement and the average monthly revenue is right around 100K/month split 8 ways (9 if we sold it). Half of the keywords on your list are simply not working for me. Amazon just switches the category to all for some reason. It's driving me nuts. And the magic search doesn't work 90% of the time. So frustrating.

Is there a difference if i am from Europa, because if i choose an adress from my country i dont get the BSR ranks. But selling on Amazon it will make no difference which country i am from or does it ? Because obviously the US Market is the biggest and probably best to get information about and start.

as far as I know, if you downloaded a copy of the sheet, NO ONE can ever have access to it. and if you use it in google doc it depends.

Half of the keywords on your list are simply not working for me. Amazon just switches the category to all for some reason. It's driving me nuts. And the magic search doesn't work 90% of the time. So frustrating.
