How to Remove GY6 Rocker Arm, and Cam Chain Tensioner, Prep Extend Cam Chain 2 of 12

Just curious, why not just loosen the valve tappet nuts and then loosen the tappets to take off the tension so the rocker arms come off easy? Pretty sure the tappets are causing the tension. Can adjust valves after the fact when reinstalling. Just a thought, not sure if it is correct!

Also, without the cam chain tensioner engaged, I have not experienced the chain being that tight still. Something seems off but maybe thats just how that scoot cam chain is.

I have a Peugeot Tweet 125....same GY6 engine...mostly....just refurbishing the bike...shot blasted the frame and hand painted the frame....never powder coating

Gotta pound em out with a flathead screw driver and hammer. Put the rocker arm in a vice. Spray some pb blaster down in there and hit it with a torch for about 30 seconds. Then hurry and start smacking it with the hammer screwdriver.
