The Kami Band (it was the West Kami's) are really not shown much these days. In fact you saw them more in this video than in the entire live show they released a month or so ago. There have been some really good fan cams that have come out from their current European tour where you can see them really well, but it seems they are not going to be present in most of the official videos or DVD's.
Welcome back Bobby, my condolences to you and your family for your loss. Yes it was the Kami Band of the West at these shows ... but the Kami Band of the East have also been wearing the masks since 2019, that is not how to tell them apart.
You should know by now to expect the unexpected - and having the word 'metal' somewhere in the title is no guarantee to what you might hear.🥸
As you know, BABYMETAL will try anything and mix whatever style or genre of music in with the metal that takes their fancy. In this instance some middle-eastern or Arabic trance (or something like that) ... because they can.

** My condolence to you and your family **. Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This song was played in the two-day shows on April 1/2 and I witnessed them at the venue 😍. Although this is live footage + studio sound, Western (American) Kami Band did a great job in those actual shows. (Intricate guitar phrases & hefty drumming)

Moa is correct. Choreo on stage by Su, Moa and Momometal was mixture of seriousness, playfulness, comicalness, therefore amazingness on top of Su's fantastic vocals ヽ(^o^)丿. The new drawer is a tribute to New BABYMETAL.
Kick ass! Metalizm is my favorite on the album. Just a heads up. The First Take of The One will probably have block issues. I don't think I've seen one get through right away yet.
Cool to see you're back Bobby, sad to hear about your family departure, hope you're better now and I'm pretty sure BM will do that for you.

If I were a professional musician, I would not be very happy with videos showing me miming to somebody else's playing, obviously they were playing live at the concert but the audio in this video is not them, they pushed it probably as far as they could with the little glimpses of the band that they did show. There will be a live audio version to come but this is a MV made to promote the studio recording of the song.

Su smashed Bollywood metal with Shanti shanti shanti, had Sabaton dancing to her euro polka beat with Oh Majinai, and now she's got Arabian/Egyptian metal with Metalizm... this is my fave so far from the new album... This is like a darker sister of Shanti Shanti, love the way she does that yodeling thing with vocals, the choreo looks a lot like Shanti Shanti Shanti too.🤘🦊🤘

Metalizm is one of my very favorites on the new album. Such a unique mix of genres and the soundscape they create is just awesome, and I'm so glad we get to see some choreo here, the ladies are absolute badasses like always. Su's glare has leveled up too 😅
Hey I hope you're able to get tickets to Dream Theater in June! My wife and I are going..and also going to both Babymetal shows in Houston and Dallas. I definitely broke the bank but I bet it will be worth it 🤘🦊

Great reaction Bobby! You know what I felt the same way about this song at first BUT just like other BABYMETAL songs that hit me the same way, after a few listens ... I am 100% hooked!
First, sorry to hear about your mother-in-law leaving us. My condolences.
"METALIZM" is one of my favorites from THE OTHER ONE and not because I am a big EDM fan (which I'm not) but because it's different, crazy and "chaotic" (as Su-metal said). Not to mention that guitar work... and this was "just" the studio version. I can't wait to see this one performed live!

I don't think the First Take version of The One will hit you in the feels like The One, Stairway to Living Legend. There was just too much uncertainty, love and honor in that version to be topped.
