I found them in the dollar tree! $1.25. They had three colors 004, 008, and 018 they also had three shades of the lip blush 010, 001 and 002
I like your new format where you arm swatch, then go straight to the lip swatch.
Thanks!
Thank you for the swatches! As much as I like the idea of companies making an effort to be eco-conscious, I would be wary of green washing here! I think it’s become common practice for companies to buy new, unused plastic bottles to “recycle” into new products so they can get brownie points. Obviously I can’t say for sure that’s what Maybelline is doing, but it makes sense for a big conglomerate to take the most cost efficient route and prioritize profits.
Oooo, I haven't seen these yet but saw the spot on the display. I adore the balmy lip blush from this collection! I'm nearly through one of those already which is impressive for someone with way too much makeup!
I agree - clean products don't necessarily appeal to me but recycling does
Maybelline does lip products very well but i feel like the color selection is a little odd for this release. 3 similar colors, and a couple nudes. Could have had some more variety.
I bought 01 Ecliptic and really liked the coverage and color. Will try 18 Musk
Thank you! I always love your swatches... Didn't know these were out but I had picked up a couple of shades from their previous launch (the creamy lipsticks in long tubes, also from the "green" line)... They were easy to wear and felt good on the lips but had no lasting power at all. Maybe it was because of their butter texture. So if these are a little more like lipsticks, as opposed to butter, I'd be curious to try a couple of nude ones... Thank you! 🌹
I want them all for everyday use.
I haven’t tried these yet nor have I tried anything in the green line. The reviews have not been great for a lot of the other products in the line, but I think what really turns me off is the packaging. I find the green tone really ugly, and I usually like green! I think if they had done something more like the Almay lipstick packaging with the cute print I would be a lot more interested.
Kiko Milano has a 'green' line that has a cute pale mint packaging. That shade of green in Maybelline isn't too exciting and may hurt sales in the long run.
Those remind me of Thrive Causmetics lip treatments. Were they limited edition?
I haven't seen these yet and i think they can't have here in the Philippines. I hope i can have it. I love color green so much!!also all the shades.
well Lagon stood out to me as the only cool tone shade. It's nice to see one at least.
So does the "green" term means its "clean" and will go bad in 30days? I avoid spending my hard earned $ on products that spoil quickly
Does this have the usual vanilla taste the standard Maybelline bullet lipsticks?
Strange that they sell a "special edition eco conscious" line. Shouldn't they just **always** be eco conscious? That should be the standard. Anyway, nice review though. Thanks!
I agree!
I was just looking at these
Green!
The slim ones started to smell bad for me in less than 2 months. Wonder how these will do.
When you don't use good preservatives, products will go bad faster. Paraben free isn't necessarily good.
Yep going 'natural' means more waste in many of these 'green' brands because they avoid more stable preservatives in favor of going harmful preservative-free'. 😏
Shore:-)
Green is such a frickin buzz word now. Won't buy. I do like good balm like lipsticks.
Another movement to add to the cruelty-free, vegan, EWG-approved, no nasties, petroleum free buzzwords movement. 😆
The colors all look identical in the different families. All gray based and yuck as far as I’m concerned. I am so disappointed in all of these launches recently. Where are the peachy pink/ lighter coral tones? Thanks for the review though.
