    Harden was so under-utilized in OKC, then he left and showed the world he can run his own show, best SG in the league right now

    • @TheAaronTB
      @TheAaronTB 10 років тому +2

      Calling James harden the best shooting guard in the nba as of right now is a TINY stretch. He has no defense, like whatsoever. His offense is fantastic, that shows. But he's an all star, not a superstar. There's Jamal Crawford, Dwayne Wade, Manu Ginobli, Joe Johnson, Evan turner, Aaron Afflalo, Victor Oladipo, Monta Ellis, Goran Dragic. Now, granted if he picks up on his defense, he could very easily be the #1. But until then, all he is as of right now is a scorer

    • @htxcris713
      @htxcris713 10 років тому +6

      TheAaronTB All the players you mentioned are great but most of them are either washed up and out of their prime or just good guards(although goran is awesome). None of them are on Hardens current level of game. If a "superstar" title is holding him back from being the best sg in the NBA right now then you just dont appreciate his level of game. Fame and being called a superstar isnt everything.

    Harden is a flawless offensive player.hes got a very good shot off the dribble and off passes he drives to the hoop so well and finishes and draws fouls shoots fts well and he is a very good passer.hes a good rebounder too and he is good at getting steals and coming up with loose balls my only problem is he doesn't play much 1v1 defense and idk why bc I think he could be a nice defender hes strong and he knows how to attack defenses as an offensive player so he should use that knowledge to better his defense,he just needs to make more of an effort in 1v1 spots!

    his defense isnt too good but he still averages top 10 in steals. He gets to the foul line because he creates contact. KD goes to the line more than he does this season..Lebron gets calls his way too. Harden is nice and still got a lot more potential. Future is really bright

    James Harden Has never finished a play in the NBA with only his right hand...its like he refuses to use his right even when its easier. I doubt that he cant finish with his right cuz he drops dimes with his right hand and alot of tht is the same aspect of a layup.

      It was choice between Harden and Ibaka. OKC kept Ibaka, which was probably the right choice to make at the time.

      Vincent Huang yes, harden cant play d and without ibaka okc would be really shit on d and they did cover up the absence of harden, ibaka learned to shot much better.

      They actually could have kept him if they amnestied Perkins. They fucked up

      Hendrix Fan Couldn't they have just traded Westbrook? I bet NY would have parted with Tyson Chandler and a pick or two for an elite scorer like Russ...and a starting 5 of 1 Reggie Jackson 2 James Harden 3. Durant 4. Serge Ibaka 5. Tyson Chandler seems pretty juicy

      bobbylight111 dude despite his flaws Westbrook is arguably the most ATHLETIC point guard ever though that does NOT mean he is one of the greatest point guards.
