2024 Hero Xtreme 125R Ride Review
Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is a commuter bike, available in only 1 variant and 4 colours. The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is powered by 124.45cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 11.8 bhp and a torque of 11 Nm. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Bajaj Pulsar NS125 comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This Pulsar NS125 bike weighs 144 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
The Pulsar NS125 rides on telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The brakes are a single 240 mm disc at the front and a 130 mm drum unit at the back. CBS comes as standard. The bike weighs 144 kgs making it one of the heaviest in the segment. But with accessible seat height, the Pulsar NS125 does manage to make life a bit easier for the rider.
The Xtreme 125R is equipped with a LED projector headlight, LED taillight and indicators, along with a hazard light function as standard. It gets a negatively lit LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity for call and SMS alerts. It also has a gear position indicator. Other notable features include i3S tech for improved fuel efficiency, and optional single-channel ABS.
The 125cc bike gets a lightweight diamond frame. It comes with the fattest rear tyre in the air-cooled-125cc bike space, along with a 37mm telescopic fork (another first) and a 7-step preload adjustable monoshock developed by Showa. The Xtreme 125R also gets a 276mm front disc brake, which is the largest among its air-cooled 125cc rivals.
