The next video is most likely going to be the Linux Challenge Part 2, which is going to take a while, so I visited some rice fields to fill the gap in the meantime!
@Livakivi i actually wonder if u studied pitch accent separately or if u acquired it automatically. Did any of your japanese friends mention it? Thx in advance
Japan has a lot of abandoned houses to buy and renovate. Required work is way more than the price of the house, and then you have a house in an area young people would leave immediately.
i really like these calm little exploration videos, its the same kind of vibe that the store renovation videos gave off and they were really relaxing to watch
These are family graves. Usually some older members of the family will live in a house nearby (house that is passed through generations) and the younger family will come visit in the summer. It appears the houses are now gone however.
I loved the vibe of this video. I would love to see more content like this. It reminded me of some trips with my family in the Brazilian countryside. Really nice video!
Haha, black forest is definitely a fitting comparison. Steep inclines, pretty views and bikes? Let me recommend you to check out the Shimanami Kaido cycling route joining Onomichi to Imabari. That was the highlight of my vacation. Also, their mountainous areas are awesome to hike through. When I visited Kifune Shrine in Kyoto, I intended to hike along a popular trail to Kurama station but since I'm terrible with directions, I ended up hiking all the way up the mountain to Seryo Pass instead. I figured something was wrong halfway in but I had no cell reception by then so I figured may as well keep walking to see where it goes. Finally got reception at Seryo pass, realized how off track I was and doubled back :)
When I watch videos like this I feel so small, like even considerably small country like Japan has that kind of landscape with no one else around, world is big big and we are small small Nice vid as always Livakivi, much love
- bamboo forest, ricefields, graveyards, baseball field, forest, frogs, birds singing, ravens, spiders, abandonned roads with trees blocking the path, spider nets... This looks too familiar... Basically like where I lived in Japan 😆
Would like to know how far away that place is from the nearest town or city since that place is definitely the type of place I would like to settle in in the future. Absolutely peaceful. Thank you for sharing these types of videos. Videos of the Japanese countryside always seem so idyllic and peaceful to me.
I stayed in Izumi Kagoshima last year for a month and it had a very similar vibe I miss the mountains there they were so pretty it was like there Goku used to fight
I've lived in India, and there were similar looking areas over there. I don't remember what they were farming there but they looked surprisingly similar to this
I'm surprised how wild and dense the forests look right beside the farm. Usually forests next to where people live get managed over centuries and it doesn't look like that. I think it's pretty cool.
I totally just imagined how 20 years later some another guy like you finds this place and sees just a bike parked in the middle of nowhere overgrown road, wondering what happened to the driver... 😳 11:36
12:51 It is, my friend and I feel the same. When I have arrived to Toronto, I explored a lot of similar places here and around in southern Ontario, it's really beautiful. Someday I'd like to do this in Japan, like you do now and I'm really happy about you
That shot at 12:02 looked like straight out of a Ghibli movie. Cool video, I was low-key hoping you'd run into some local and have a wholesome interaction but I guess you can't expect that to happen at 5am in such a random place. Also, the video and audio quality is superb.
I wouldn't mind you buying a GoPro and posting these peaceful exploration videos literally every day! Beautiful place and truly a unique experience you just had. Also, even "trestpassing" I believe would be fine for you, you are not japanese, so easy to claim you did not know any better, but also you speak the language VERY well, so you wouldn't be taken as a nosy tourist over-stepping boundaries. Of course, the thing about trespassing in the countryside is always being as respectful as possible, not leaving thrash behind, being noisy, etc etc., apologising profusely when caught, etc. All of which I believe comes very naturally to you!
Hiii !! Good video as always bro. I have 1 question that kept me busy these days... How many flying spinder webs / spiders do you see floating around in Japan in non-residential places ? I'm making this question because here in Italy if I try to walk in a forest trailing path I will absolutely find 10 spider webs in my face only in the first 5 minutes
Thank you for your videos, you have motivated me to go for my dream, I have just started learning Japanese so I appreciate your content alot, if you need something to do in Linux i can help (i daily drive Fedora on my gaming machine and notebook), if you need to.
The next video is most likely going to be the Linux Challenge Part 2, which is going to take a while, so I visited some rice fields to fill the gap in the meantime!
r/unixporn ❌
rice fields ✅
the next video will have Linux ricing true
Do NixOS, coward! (declarative system is so good, but it can be a pain to get more advanced setups)
Ohhhhh! I personally enjoyed Nobara because it works nicely with DaVinci Resolve and some other cool features
@Livakivi i actually wonder if u studied pitch accent separately or if u acquired it automatically. Did any of your japanese friends mention it? Thx in advance
The electricity store needs a japanese livakivi to renovate it

@@Ph34rNoB33r Good, why would you want other people nearby anyway
Livakivi and mudan vibing around japan is not what I expect in 2024
Congrats on finally getting something from a vending machine. Now if you'd only visit Tokyo one day as well
Best advert for japan I've ever seen
When you passed through that dark passage, it gave me some "spirited away" vibes.
Dude, your storytelling is so good. Eventhough it comes over completely random. I'm just hooked to the video when you start.

omg it's Place, Japan
Do you ever think the last name "Tanaka" exists because some rice farmer noticed their buddy in a rice field and said "huh, he's 田中"
maybe were all 田中 but we just dont realise it
5:22 Bro is literally at a loss for words 💀
A new (not Tokyo) Estonia Lens Explore video just dropped! You're definitely enjoying the(new?) zoom lens.
that rice field surrounded by forests feels so cozy, like imagine having something like that as a backyard or something, that's amazing
this video feels cozy, i really like the atmosphere of the more rural parts of Japan :) very cool livakivi
That is some unbelievably green grass my guy. I'm from northern Mexico. Which is a wasteland of cacti and dead shrubs. It seems alien to me
Mexico is the worst country before North Korea
Do you have the yellow filter in Mexico all the time?
@@amansharma2870 fr
I can relate. I lived in southern Arizona (40-50 miles from the Mexican border).
@@amansharma2870 Yea I wish someone would turn it off sometime
everywhere in Japan looks like it's from an anime to me
It looks like a river of grass.
It also looks like Non Non Biyori.
I loved the vibe of this video. I would love to see more content like this. It reminded me of some trips with my family in the Brazilian countryside. Really nice video!
This video was so relaxing to watch
Now this is the content I've subscribed for

I like how you went to the very end of the road and didn't pussy out like most people would!
love this type of video man. would be awesome to see more
the abandoned building in the path looks like something out of stray
It's damm enjoyable to watch this kind of videos. Please continue making it dude.
When I watch videos like this I feel so small, like even considerably small country like Japan has that kind of landscape with no one else around, world is big big and we are small small
Nice vid as always Livakivi, much love
Windows XP should be an official shade of green. Everyone knows instantly what it looks like.
Cute little flat river valleys
Man, what a nice video. You're one of the few UA-camrs that when you upload, I stop what I'm doing to watch. Hope you continue.
Loved the vibe of this video 🥺 the rice fields were so gorgeous - felt like a core memory being made!! as always thanks for sharing 🌸
This is one of the best videos on your channel. Please make more like this while you're in Japan!

this video is genuinely the most entertaining thing i've seen in a while
edit: please make more of these lol
bro is literally doing the *trees in japan meme*
making it up that hill while holding a camera and not needing to step off is kinda beast
Livakivi referencing age of empires is hilarious
I was stunned by the video quality in the video. I was trying to guess the price of your camera and wasn't surprised when you said $4k lol.
this place makes me think about the movie:
All About Lily Chou-Chou
YES
good call
i was gonna comment that🤣
Exactly
I stayed in Izumi Kagoshima last year for a month and it had a very similar vibe I miss the mountains there they were so pretty it was like there Goku used to fight
Is it just me or is thus bug really cute (gets bitten by a bug in front of graveyard)

"I'm not really sure I'm allowed to be here" 立入禁止最高!
Always nice to look how other people touch grass meanwhile me is indoors for weeks...
holy shit everyone stop new livakivi drop
You are such a lovely soul. I really enjoy these vlog style videos.
Instantly recognized the lushsux style. Nice

your videos are always so cozy to watch
3:09 neither did I, that's so random for a remote place like this 😂
I'd like more videos like this, just exploring and wandering around
Getting of the beaten path in Japan always leads to nice spots. I rarely get dissapointed when venturing out in the countryside :p
yoooo it's that one japanese bird call, the one used in the wii system sounds
I want more often videos about life in japan! excellent videos brother
I totally just imagined how 20 years later some another guy like you finds this place and sees just a bike parked in the middle of nowhere overgrown road, wondering what happened to the driver... 😳 11:36
Very cool place indeed
we need more videos like thsi brother
love this type of content
The sound of the camera when you zoom in and out is *chefs kiss*
Love how you are the master of finding stores that can be renovated lol

Livakivi Bicycle Journey Across Japan when?
it looks peaceful!
Wow, this place is so beautiful, I hope one day I can visit Japan too
Am I the only one who was thinking about the start of "My Neighbor Totoro" while watching the beginning of the video?!

the video quality looks so aesthetic. What lens are you using?
sony 24-70 f4?
24-105mm F4
I'm gonna have to add it to my list of places to visit it next time I go back lol
Good video! I wish to be laid to rest in a field like that, becoming one with the rice...
I'm still wondering which prefecture this is :)
Cool Place elsewhere:😒😫😰🤢
Cool Place, Japan: 😳🥰😍😚😝
Beautiful!
Bug at the end kinda has the face of a capybara. Cute
this whole video gives me intro to a deadpan comedy horror movie...
My brother livakivi livin life fr 🤟, always appreciate it all 💚
I was waiting for Totoro to jump out

the bug is a weevil! seems to be a Pseudocneorhinus bifasciatus, or "two banded japanese weevil" !
Literally this is what i want to do in my life, i hope my Japanese gets good soon, just complete 2k/6k deck!
A livakivi vlog can always brighten up a gloomy day 👍👍
You can tell he's in like Western Fukushima because it's flat and absolutely covered in bamboo shoots.
An abandoned store you say…
stunning
NOICE I have not even seen this yet but it gotta be good…
It's only been a minute
Wow this is a very cool place in Japan
Paradise fields all hail the rice 😅
Thank you ma guy for showing us the peace countryside
Cool video!

Bro didn't just pull a filthy frank in the description 💀💀💀
livakivi found footage
The video, was probably very boring, what made it cool and interesting is that it's probably your most personal video or one of.
