Dear Emma, Thank you so much for not only sharing the depth of your connections to animals, but showing us a bit more on how you train. I would love to see for instance, how you shape rolling into lying down, and eventually sitting or laying with you. Recently, you mentioned you might answer questions on a future video. So that would be one question, and secondly have you considered doing training videos for those of us who cannot go to England to a clinic. I also imagine that you are much in demand and accessing a clinic might be like winning the lottery. I have a horse that I have a wonderful connection with and love deeply, I want to move away from conventional training to happiness based training. I've got a 16. 2hh slightly fearful Quarter horse that does all western and hunter events in AQHA shows. I want him to be more balanced, to slowdown to have fun, to take him out on trails, to get him a buddy and keep him with me at my home. But I need guidance and if you were able to give more of those ideas on your videos, or to make versions that go from beginning to end, it would be wonderful. You are so inspiring, you remind me of my childhood, when just being with horses was a joy, and your intelligence, conceptual sophistication and emphasis on creativity and connection are deeply touching. Thank you so much,
    Noelle

Emma i want to say again, my situation may not be typical but i still have a point of view. Your channel and every video i have seen shows as much about your character as the lives of your animals. i feel like i know you; like i could meet you and give you a hug and just start talking about your latest venture? You are so kind and loving towards your animals. i have great respect for you as a human of good stewardship towards Gods creation. You help me keep my life in perspective? I know now that i am close to my death from kidney failure that praying daily and generally just being positive is so import to my health. Your channel reminds me of many aspects of my own life. i used to be around horses and yet i see that i missed out on so much mutual love because i didnt know how to interact like you do? I adore your little "mousey" voice of kindness. i think your animals know what you are as human and adore you for your affection towards them. To me life is all about LOVE? The more you incorporate LOVE into your life the more you understand what i mean. I have weapons to compensate for my weaknesses now but hope that i never have to leave my god given nature of loving so may humans and animals. Your channel has showed me that all animals are capable of understanding that someone cares for them ? I feel that i should repeat my dominate thoughts for others to reconsider themselves? Emma you are such a wonderful person and im glad i found your channel! i am Art in Tennessee, USA. God Bless you and your work.

He must just love doing your crew. I’d be curious what the glue on plastic shoe is he’s using? I know a horse with one back leg shorter than the other and this could be a good solution. I don’t know if you folks can get it over there but your farrier might want to look up hoof armour. One of my clients sells it over here in Canada and it’s hugely successful to help transition more difficult cases to barefoot. It’s remarkable. 😘 it’s made in the US. HUGS Emma. "Hay is for horses, that's what they eat, it gives them nice hair and shiny nice feet." This is a poem I made up when my children were learning to talk. They would ask, "Hey, can I have..." I would recite my poem and teach them how to address people politely and ask properly for what they want.
So, here are your horses. Eating hay, with nice hair and shiny nice feet. Okay, maybe there is an extra step or two, but basically, right on the money. lol
Anyway, I heard my daughter, who is a mother herself now, recite the poem word for word to her own child the other day, so that killed me and now this! I am starting to wonder if I have been self-isolating a little too long. heh heh

I love that you keep your horses at bierty so much you don’t mention traffic much so I presume there is none to very little where you are I also love how you mix the sexes of the pony’s with entire males working along side mares and geldings it’s funny stallions get such a bad rap banned at pony club so ther fore stuck at home most alone in their field or locked up in a box I’ve worked for years breeding horses and frankly I would trust a stallion before a mare if a stallion is going to react he’s very honest about it and will squeal strike and generally carry on and then that’s it unless a mare is in season he generally will start listening to you again once you have his attention off the mares and know no one is there to be bred he usually will then act just as he would if no other horses were there the more he is worked around other horses the calmer he will be it when a stallion only comes out of his field or box only to breed a mare that he can become very on-ramp track minded and refuse to obey or listen to you it can help if they have a companion in the field with them I’ve known stallions who had pony gelding friends and s few with donkey jacks as a mat or a castrated Conley some were so attatched they had to be locked in their stable if the donkey came out so you could Harrow the field or spread lime and they both had to come out and be tied up together for the farrier to do the donkey without the donkey this stallion would run himself into a lather and it was hard to see if he’d ever stop but he was the worst attachment I’ve ever seen all though I’ve known a few racing stable that looked a bit odd on race day when they turned up with a goat to keep their competater calm this goat lived in the stable with the horse and the biggest problem they had was the goat liked to chew on the horses tail so they put it in braid and covered it with crib stop which worked fine but meant on race morning the had to wash her tail as it was rather heavy and trainers reduce weight where ever they can even though she trained with the heavy tail so was used to rthe weight
