Lightning Rod Records
I'm still drivin' when's this break gunna come,
Back my picking with a big ole timpani drum
Stole shelter from the storm
Night my cousin's baby was born
Some say I'm a wild man
Drink too much nectar from the corn
I'm still drivin' when's this break gunna come,
Back my picking with a big ole timpani drum
Oh the school it wasn't for me
Earned my stripes a different way
Learned to sing harmony
And go play out on the stage
I'm still drivin' when's this break gunna come,
Back my picking with a big ole timpani drum
I'm still drivin', I'm still drivin',
I'm still drivin', I'm still drivin' yaaaaaa
I'm a still, I'm a still, I'm a still, I'm a still drivin',
Still, still, still, I'm a still driver
Still, I'm a still, I'm a still, I'm a still driver
Still, still, still, I'm a still driver

Dude best comment ever..

🤣🤣🤣👌🏻
Or Roy Mercer
Sounds like Waylon. Get after it son we are all that’s left!
He's got a hell of a lot of Waylon. And there wouldn't be the slightest doubt that Waylon would approve.
This guy has an amazing voice, no one sings like him anymore.
Combination of George Jones, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and Marty Robbins
@@danielmerrell5534 he sounds like waylon more than anything
Cody jinks....
He’s just copying Solomon Woodland
Gary Allen
How has this dude not blown up?
I don't get it either. Metal head here who hates all country that is not classic and this guy is the best thing I have heard since the 2000s. Yet, I still make up 2 dozen of so views of his latest, or 0.016%. That could mean that max ~ 6000 people like him (on youtube) as much as I do.
@@RobDinsmore Same here
He sounds like such an old soul
Heard this in the movie Vengeance 2022, been hooked ever since.
Every song on this album is pure gold.
BIG Waylon vibes here. I absolutely love it!!
Never heard of him before but saw him at the grand ole opry last night and now I can’t stop listening!!!
Mr. Cauthen is my soul mate.
Cody Jinks brought me here...Thanks Cody!
Here because of Midland, amazing voice
He remind me Elvis, and Johnny cash.💕💕💕💕💕💕
I've got 0 country in my blood and am a metal fan through and through but this is good stuff
Agree 1000% I listen to anything from Devildriver to Trivium, to Cannibal Corpse, to Strapping Young Lad. This guy came up on my suggestion, and I've been hooked since.
You should try some of Waylon Jennings 70's records.
Check out his song Cocaine country dancing. Its funky.
Me too. This guy is amazing!
All peeps can see it when it’s true talent
Damn Man . This is good.

Got that Waylon vibe to it. Cool stuff.
Best boogie Woogie of the 2010's💯🔥
Just saw him open for Cody Jinks a couple nights ago. He's awesome!
Brian Mather Does anybody know if he will be at the Gothic Theater in Englewood, Colorado on February 18th with Cody Jinks and Ward Davis?
Yes, he'll be there.

@@rustypatterson1339 The right side of WA is republican. I hope California falls in the ocean though.
Never heard of him until I seen he was going to be with Cody Jinks in June. Thought I'd give him a listen. I'm a fan now!
I'm still drivin'
When's this break gon' come
You bide my pickin'
With a big ol' timpani drum
So there's hail before the storm,
and like my cousin's baby was born,
Some say I'm a wild man,
Drink too much nectar from the cone
Still drivin'
When's this break gon' come
You bide my pickin'
With a big ol' timpani drum
Holy school employs a'me,
I learned my stride and stepped away,
I learned to sing harmony,
and go playin' on the stage
Still drivin'
When's this break gon' come
You bide my pickin'
With a big ol' timpani drum
Still drivin',
I'm still drivin'
I'm still drivin'
I'm still drivin'
oh yeah!
I'm still,
I'm a' still,
I'm still,
I'm a'still drivin'
Still
Still
Still
I'm a'still drivin'
Still,
I'm a'still
I'm still,
I'm a'still drivin'
Still
Still
Still,
a'still drivin'

I like to think of this dude as an amish runaway.

😎
yeehaw
Lol is anyone here from working at Tractor Supply
Sounds like Waylon to me
Your voice is awesome,I wish you would not be so goofy
Are you kidding me? The goofiness, or fact that he is clearly having fun is what makes this good. Doesn't hurt that he has a good voice.
I feel like there is something that he wants to be that he just is not.
Almost as if he isn't convincing...there is a layer of fraud. This isn't who he is.
What exactly is "something"? I grew up with him and this is most defiantly who he is.
After giving this album another listen I think I figured out what it is. This album is a pop country album. You'll think that it is crazy. He puts this affectations on his voice to make himself sound like Waylon. He wears it well, in fact. But, like I said i'm convinced if he were to sing naturally his voice wouldn't have that Waylon-esque sound. He didn't find his own voice, he attempted someones else's.
Then with the instrumentation, it goes generally the same as a Luke Bryan album - verse, chorus, verse, chorus, breakdown, chorus. He disguises it with the steel guitar and nice country piano.
He also repeated certain lyrics a lot...Still Drivin', Let it burn, I'll be the one...etc.
That was long..I know. But, I will make one more comment.
This album isn't bad at all. In fact, it's pretty enjoyable overall. Just in my quest to find that authentic, original and modern country music this doesn't fit the bill, in my opinion.
Really? you are too much into the illuminati of music! calm the hell down, this guy has lived a life and has found HIS sound! has it occurred to you that if he wanted to become a straight pop country hit he would? just as most of them do? did you ever hear Florida Georgia line song before they became..... idk popular? no because they were discovered quick and brainwashed into a pop culture country, money loving manager. Paul Cauthen has been in other bands and sang a long time of his life to not have been discovered. he wants the challenge of earning a worthy singer I can say that!
King Colbra You seem like you want to be a critic but at least do a good job. Everything you just said is made up only in your mind.
