If you want to step up your audio game, get a better headphone first, once you're happy with your headphone then you can start worrying about amplification and dacs
It has same internals like my K7, I was thinking about buying it but finally I decide to go with K7 and leftover money spend on new Iem's, cables etc. Decision was easy coz I have all my music in my phone and PC and phone with me so there was no reason to have another phone build into dac. But for someone who not realy care about extra 500$ this is nice gadget to instal on the desk. I wish in this price they will do in this form dac with detachable dap which you can take on the go and later on home just plug into dac. Thane I will pay even more for it.
It looks amazing, but i hope they keep on releasing new updates and firmwares because this company, like other audiophile companies tend to stop supporting their products after a few years. I AM LOOKING AT YOU Astell & Kern!
I'd get this if I was going to live with my grandma for a year or I want to have my music listening room in a certain part of the houe. Like if my computer was in my office downstairs but I want to sit in the library. I don't have a library but still

i got a $400 pair of seneisers and they sounded so bad without the DAC AMP.. buying just good headphones alone isnt enough
