To be honest, i'm almost certain this is a trimmed version (by computer, not components) of the 1.2 86hp in the Corsa D (predessecor) and it's 4 cilinder, wich helps a lot, more then people think. But i think i still prefer my Corsa D 86hp, it's calmer when revving up.

Corsa F uses Peugeot Engine, and imo they are a lot less confident (especially at low revs) then a Opel Engine. I have Corsa D 1.2 86 hp and i love it.

@@TopSpeedBrothers yes this is why i really would like to see it. I own a opel corsa 1.4 Excite 90 PS and it says on the paper that the top speed is 175km/h but I can see that a smaller engine and a lower power can reach 180km/h. It would be interesting to see where the 1.4 engine can go.

@@TopSpeedBrothers Especially the 1.2 seems to be the most reliable engine. It's the little brother of the 1.4 and the turbocharged 1.4t. All of them go with timing chains though. Revs quite high, but takes it with a smile. Allthough the actual Corsa "E", which is basicaly a facelifted D, officially called S-D, do smell quite funny inside the cabin. Well, I love it! drove it back like a GoKart.
How this 1.2 4cyl turbo can produce only 70hp ? I mean even the last gen corsa (D) produce 80hp with it 1.2 4cyl atmospheric PS : it performs veryy good for 70hp its more like 85/90
it is actually my mistake the 1.2 is not a turbo engine, it is pretty much the same engine then the corsa D just with more restriction in the exhaust system

@@TopSpeedBrothers ich fahre den 1.2er, die Höchstgeschwindigkeit halte ich für realistisch, meiner geht auch um die 180 kmh, allerdings die 0-100 Zeit überrascht mich, muss aber sagen meiner fühlt sich auch schneller als 16 Sekunden an, habe aber noch nie getestet, das werde ich auch nicht machen, aber vom Gefühl her definitiv schneller.

Mar Co Opel misst die 0-100 Zeiten mit 75kg Fahrer und 200 KG Beladung.
1.2 has different gear ratios. It's definitely 1.4 90hp...

Yes, it's on the noisier side, but that's expected for small cars.
