My favorite restaurant is Les Frangins, Paris. They make all kind of steak tartares!
Alisa!! Congratulations, you are our winner! 🙌
Thank you to everyone who commented, some incredibly passionate answers!
Thank you very much!
You know you're enjoying the Cotswolds film when you feel like you need a 40min long video instead of 14. WE WANT MORE
Would love to see more of the Cotswolds
Sooooo, round 2 road trip? 👀
Elevated pub food, outdoor eating and most importantly great weather in the UK??? What a combo!!
Right?!
Favourite restaurant,
The Mussel Pot, Havelock, South Island, New Zealand.
Amazing local spot, with 1kgs of freshly steamed green lipped mussels in a choice of sauces (my favourite Cream, white wine, garlic, and herbs) served in a huge chefs pot with crusty dipping bread.
Pair this with a local Marborough region crisp cold Sauvignon Blanc and you are in absolute heaven.
If you gents love your seafood, I highly recommend you get down to NZ!
Love your channel guys. ❤
I'd love you to do a tour of Oxford. I've lived here all my life but rarely go out to eat, I definitely need to make more of an effort to find some new favourites.
Would love to, where should we go first?!
@@topjaw The Grand Cafe for breakfast. Explore the covered market as it's full of gems but don't skip Ben's Cookie's.
There are three G&D's selling incredible ice cream but the one opposite Christchurch college is the best.
Other places I enjoy are Gees, No.1 Ship Street and The Rickety Press.
Raoul's is also great for late night cocktails.
@@topjawPLEASE do Oxford!!Vaults cafe and garden you will love Will and his ethos and Worton organic farm and cafe shouldn’t be missed
Another fantastic video Will’s dry commentary works perfectly 😂
Top 2 faves (for the sausage rolls): Cape To Cuba (Cape Town 🇿🇦)- overlooks Kalk Bay beach and incredible Seafood Linguine and Valpy Street Bistro (Reading 🏴) - underground intimate divine restaurant
So glad I found this video before our upcoming trip to the Cotswolds later this month!
Favourite restaurant - Huis In Southsea, Portsmouth.
A little slice of Belgian heaven. Wall to ceiling beers and TopJaw dribble worthy food to match. Pork belly a signature in there.
I live in the Cotswolds and The halfway house is a new favourite! Glad to see you enjoying all the local restaurants I’m blessed to have it all on my doorstep
What a place to live!!
Favourite Restaurant for me has to be Monkey Bar in Berlin, amazing cocktails, amazing korean fried chicken! Atmosphere is very chill and a view over the Berlin Zoo that’s just next door. 🤩
Sounds epic!!
Cotswolds is going to be one of those places that you go for food, but stay for views and ambience. I would say my favourite restaurant is Fotografiska in Tallinn. From farm to plate and really a all-around 3 in 1 place - you can have brunch, dinner or cocktails there.
Will and Jesse...Living the great life...Love It!!!!
A recent favourite is Gertrude, Amsterdam!
Olde worlde setting, a relaxed 5 course tasting menu full of surprises, firm fav of the locals and all round stunning dine! Jesse & Will you must go. Thanks as always for the top tier reccos!
Just moved to London and I have been loving your content for finding the best places to eat around the UK & Europe, keep it up!!
My current favourite is Farmer's Daughter in Melbourne. It's an incredible seasonal menu all sourced locally from the food bowl of Victoria and the vibe is just immaculate!
Favourite restaurant is Rei das Praias on Caneiros beach in the Algarve 🦐🦐🦐 the BEST grilled tiger prawns in garlicky oil. Sublime 🙌🏻
Omg I love the Cotswolds! This is already one of my many FAVES.

Thanks mate!!
Love to see the Cotswolds Highlighted. Thank you
Thanks#VWFinancial for sponsoring this episode and introducing us to your new EV.
Outstanding tour as always from team #TopJaw. When it comes to a favourite restaurant... sometimes the atmosphere exceeds the food and that is - okay! When visiting NYC I love to go to Carmine's Italian restaurant in the theater district. The food is better than average, served family style, in a 1940's mafioso setting. It's fun comfort food and the ambiance elevates the experience.
Being from Toronto I am excluded from the contest but I love every time we see a #SausageRoll up close. Thanks Will for making all of us drool.
I think you should go explore Devon or even better the Jurassic Coast, absolutely gorgeous coast line with incredible hidden gems.
Pátio 44 Restaurant Porto, Portugal.... can't wait to get back and eat again 3/4 of the season changing menu with anybody who appreciates this side of life👌😇
My favorite restaurant is at the Inveroran Hotel in Bridge of Orchy, Scotland. Nadia’s food is next level, in a gorgeous highland setting. I’ve travelled from the US just to eat there again. The best food on the West Highland Way.
Really nice. I love those quaint village pubs. So "un-touristy" and simple. Thanks for another cool video guys. Cheers 🍻
Love to hear it mate, thanks so much!
Love this! Totally adding to my list of must dos. I would love to see some more Scotland videos ;)
Where should we go first in Scotland?!
@@topjaw Dornoch! We still need to book you into Links House!
My favourite restaurant in the whole world - Tempura Naruse, in Shizuoka (Tokyo).
Locally sourced seafood and vegetables, it's the pinnacle of tempura. The best of the best.
Favourite restaurant at the moment has to be Kochchi in Edinburgh, started out of a horse box and have moved into a storefront in Bonnie and Wilde in Edinburgh. The only place I’ve been able to find proper Sri Lankan street food in Scotland.
Love the channel, loved the video, the Cotswolds have been on my bucket list for a looong time!
Favorite restaurant must be the Nez Bistro in my hometown - Recife, Brazil - it’s a tradicional and charming French bistro filled with great memories ❤
Le Scorlion in Saint-Jean-d'Angély, Charente-Maritime, France. This was my first ah ha moment as a child to the power of food.
Love a spot with a core memory 🙏
Hey, loved this video, it made me think of another beautiful UK destination for you guys, North Yorkshire. Amazing scenery and a great food scene. Black Swan at Oldstead, Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall, The Star Inn at Harome, The Oldest Sweet Shop in the World in Pateley Bridge (not to mention the best pork pies from the high street butchers). Yorkshire Puddings, Dales cheeses, Rhubarb, North Yorkshire is amazing!
Next trip needs to be more in the direction of Stow, Bourton on the water and the Slaughters
What an amazing road trip filled with delicious looking food 😯This is hard... but one of my favourite restaurants is Burnt Ends in Singapore! Absolutely divine food, ambience and experience 😋👌❤
48 hours in Cumbria next? L'enclume? 😮
Highly recommend Montesacro in Brooklyn, NY. Love their pizzas and antipasti. Very friendly service and beautiful environment.

I simply can't pick my favorite restaurant, but one I'm really feeling right now is Post Oak on Tennyson St in Denver, CO. Great Texas post oak smoked meats, loads of whiskey to choose from, and an amazing crew who make every visit a blast.

Peak District, Lake District, Yorkshire Moors, Lochs tour, North Wales happy to join if you need help!!! Revisit old cities! Loads of new options in already visited cities you’ve done!
Keep up with top draw content!
Favourite restaurant has to be Sur le pouce in Marseille. Stumbled across it down a damp alley way whilst on holiday, and discovered the most amazing Moroccan restaurant. Bowls stacked high with couscous and grilled meat. So simple, so delicious, and so nice they named it twice. We went back three days in a row.
South America Top Jaw Tour! Santiago de Chile is a must see
These restaurants must love having Jesse decorously draped over their furniture the tucking into their food. Yum Yum
Favourite Restaurant is one in the Charente region of France. We visited around 15 years ago and have never been able to find it again. It was based on a farm and was famous for what was known as Chicken in the Chimney.
The food was very simple. Good roast poultry with a smokey flair.
Coffee was a piece of theatre. Cold coffee was poured into a large ceramic bowl on a deep saucer. The saucer was filled with high proof cognac and set alright. That then heated the coffee perfectly. To drink, you poured the leftover booze into the coffee and sweetened to taste.
Known as a brulot, it was an unforgettable end to the evening.
So not high gastronomy but a great experience. And will never be repeated.
All looks amazing! Would love to see mother Cornwall trip!
We've done Cornwall! One of our faves 🙏
A tough 48 hours in the office 🤭 Food and accommodation all looked awesome. The Cotswolds is a stunning area.

Favourite Restaurant in the World...
This is probably a very dubious one, but I'm going to say 'Hearth' in Kingston-upon-Hull.
Good old Hull has a bit of a bad reputation. And in some ways, that's deservedly so. In recent years, the main thoroughfares like Ferensway, Jameson Street, and Whitefriargate have suffered from the declining economic situation and a general lack of investment.
However, Hull is home to various hidden gems in two main districts: the Marina and the Victorian Old Town. And it's here that you'll find a small but exceptional little food scene, with venues like 'Nibble', 'Still.', 'Thieving Harry's', 'Hitchcocks', and of course, 'Hearth'.
'Hearth' is a restaurant and bakery set in the idyllic Trinity Square, situated in Hull's Old Town. And it's managed by a team of three people: Ryan Telford, Caitlin Ogden, and Ian Pexton.
Ryan is an experienced head chef, having worked for the Michelin starred 'Chez Bruce' in London and 'Henne' in Denmark. Caitlin is a genius head baker, specialising in classical French cuisine and having worked at 'The Ritz'. And Ian is a local legend, having worked in two pubs that are the prides of East Yorkshire: 'The Fox and Coney' and 'The Triton Inn'.
This team's combined experience shines through in the food at 'Hearth', which is absolutely exceptional. Traditional British food, with a modern twist. Their 'Roasted Bone Marrow' starter melts in your mouth, their 'Low and Slow Ox Cheek with Buttery Mash' is heart-warming, and the macarons (especially the cherry and panacotta) that they serve in the bakery are wonderful.
I'd be surprised if TopJaw ever made a film of 24 hours in Hull. But if they did, I think you'd be surprised by the hard-done-by, yet resilient, city with it's charming little food scene. 😊
All Beef, portimao, Portugal amazing food, wine, spotless clean best steak i have ever had and their whiskey prawns are elite!
Smokini, in Plovdiv is my absolute favourite restaurant. If ever you guys do a 24 or 48 hours in Sofia, be sure to take a couple hours journey down to Plovdiv - so many cool places in Kapana district, which is the real arty hub that will get you gloriously fed, and yes most probably totally wasted 😂😂
Halfways at Kineton also do a great Sunday roast!
Fave restaurant in the world?! Casa Toni in Madrid. It's homely, hearty, no frills and always makes me feel like I've arrived in Spain! 😊
Zaza in Harpenden is probably my favourite. It’s about the experiences and vibe is amazing and it’s my go to place for a delicious meal
UK only? Give your biggest Singaporean fan some love too! Fav restaurant: KAUM in Bali, Indonesia
My favourite restaurant in the world would have to be Damascus in Wellington, New Zealand. Seriously missing this place now that I live in London!!
Osteria De Fortunata in Roma has to be my fav spot. Thanks for the Topjaw top tip. Send me those sausage rolls boiiis, or a sweet pair of sunnies 🙌
Long time Topjaw viewer, this was amazing to watch. We had our wedding at Old gore barn which Baz & Fred own, had pre wedding party at The New Inn, and post party the next day at The Stump ... great to know you rate it as much as we do
Looks amazing! Best restaurant: Potluck Club - Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦
Favourite restaurant is The White Horse Oyster & Seafood bar in Edinburgh! 🏴
Enoteca Ferrara in Rome - run by two sisters, a sommelier and chef. Such amazing homemade pasta 😍
Great tour - will certainly be stopping at The Halfway and The New Inn when we go back to the Cotswolds in November. Favourite restaurant - The Ugly Butterfly in Carbis Bay, Cornwall (loved it so much, we got married there!)
