Hey good sir... this looks fun. Just afraid to buy it right now because of limited missions. Also truck driver the american dream got an update. It's wayy more smoother and the ai are still slow at intersections but don't sit there as long. They aiso added wheel support and fixed the rain effects on the wind shield. The weather and graphics are still top notch. Iv been playing it allot now. If they add more missions to this game I'll probably buy it. Just don't want to get stuck playing the same missions in the same locations over and over again lol. That's the only thing that's styling me from getting this game. I completely understand about the lack of missions , around 30 missions to complete at the moment ! There is replayability of getting the full 3 stars on each one , but they have spoken about adding more content to the game , and I can only presume that would be more missions , with different cargo types etc..... so we will see . I am really enjoying the game , but it's longevity is a big question mark !
I’m not going to buy this unless they add the ffb, it’s such an immersion breaker and when your on a wheel makes the steering so floaty…also not a fan of the completing missions layout. I make an exception for fernbus as all other immersion is so good and the map is brilliant. Also use a workaround to give the sense of ffb. Quite enjoyed tourist bus. But Alaskan road truckers ended up being a disappointment and on the road was the worst of the lot. I actually am going to bite the bullet on taxi life if the wheel support launching this week on console is acceptable. Will you be sticking your head back in, Lee? All the best
I don't own a wheel due to space constraints on where my streaming set up is , so the addition of wheel support on taxi life is a bit of a miss for me , but I will check out the update on the channel when it drops due to other fixes and changes within the update
You've ground me into submission....If it's £24.95 I'm having it😋 One question: I noticed on your previous stream that you unlocked a "discover all missions" achievement right at the very end, which I presume means that the entirety of the map is also unlocked. I was wondering how big the map actually is (my initial thought is "not very") and how long you think it might take before missions start overlapping one another and you just end up with a Truck & Logistics scenario where you're doing slightly different stuff over and over on the same roads.
The map is 174km2 , I've currently played about 30 hours , and I have about 8 missions left . I have had 2 jobs repeat / cargos The game explains it in anyway that we originally delivered it to the wrong place or they don't need it anymore , but yes only 2 repeats of cargo up to now . I reckon I'll be 40 hours + by the time I've completed all the missions , maybe another 20 hours or so to get 3/3 stars on all

I notice it's raining. Again. 😅.. I shall see how you get on before committing to this. . Lost all faith in getting a decent trucking game on the console. .

They have mentioned to me and on their discord that they have plans to expand on the game , fingers crossed that will be more missions ! For now though I reckon there is about 25/30 hours of gameplay to complete all the missions , and then maybe a few more hours to 100% the missions as in getting 3/3 stars for each one as that's not easy . So maybe 40 hours or so to 100% the game . For around £25 that's not awful value ??
Mhm not thoroughly impressed at all but then again I'm not surprised given who it's by and hard pass for me it looks nice but I just don't trust these developers I'm tired of getting burned by these guys
No worries pal , we all enjoy different things , for me it's a move forward from OTR , It's an enjoyable title but as I've said it's longevity is questionable !

As it says in the title , it's called " Heavy Cargo The Truck Simulator and it's available on Xbox series s/X and ps5
I still would not hold my breath on this cgd...it does look a bit better than the demo i tried but i think its more of the same for console trucking
