Amazing game. Loved the turn-based battle system and music. Sucks that Imageepoch went bankrupt. Would've loved a sequel or an enhanced version of this game.
I feel like it relied on Cliches and the Religious themes to not properly do the war act right. Like there was very little impact with the war. If they handled it subtly like FFX with collecting the Rogress, you'd be able to care more about them, however the execution of that was botched, and they gave far between too few benefits to begin with to call it useful. But the game does prove the character development can still be done pretty well at times when they add emphasis.
Seems this game gets tons of praise from JRPG fans in this day and age. I'm super interested in it myself. Yasunori Mitsuda being the composer is enough for me to play it alone, but I've also heard the story and characters are interesting, and of course the fact that the battles can get ridiculously tough. Really if you just look beyond the shitty voice acting, it seems a lot of people really love this game. I'm going to try to pick it up soon and will just turn the voice volume off completely.
COME FORTH IN THE NAAAAAAAAAAME OF CHAOS
Playing this in 2020. Criminally underrated JRPG.
FACTS

I feel a danger approaching!
I need to go back to this game and finish it.
Yeah this is my favorite theme out of the whole game. :D
I already beat this game, but not fully beaten it, bcuz I didn't find all the mini bosses. :T
One of the Wii's gems. This is a must play.
You have.. my thanks.
Something's amiss ... beware!
LOVE THIS SONG 🎵
"I've got a bad feeling about this"
God I remember when I first got this game I could not beat the deathchanter (dynos) and now I can beat him in 1 second lol good times
music still epic though
The theme that plays when you're old man takes out the belt
honestly the game had such potential, then it falls flat on its face. maybe if another studio remade the game it would be better
