I love powdercoats there is now so many colors and types of finishes to choose from. Beautiful
I have this same model now for over 60 years. Its standing on my desk and is in a very good shape. Still original. The colors are different. Nice to see the restoration
Personally, I would have chosen another color scheme. But that’s just me. A great restoration!👍
@Paula Meads
Agreed. A model T would be black. But being a toy, they may have had an odd color scheme that he is faithfully restoring. Toys are often weird colors.
Ford offered the Model T in any color back in the day as long as you wanted black. 😆
Love the colors, outstanding detail! Old to new as it were, now just waiting for playful hands!
Thank you for bringing back Japanese toys. From Japan
I've done a fair amount of Powder Coating - mostly on my Motorcycle parts, and found that it's not only easier, but MUCH faster, and MUCH more durable than painting. Although doing multiple colors on a singe part can be a hassle, it can be done if you're careful. What I find is the hardest part is getting the part from my powder area to the oven without messing it up!
Of course pin-striping, etc is still a hand-paint only craft. Nice resto!
0:52 I've never seen anything remotely similar to this ... I like it!
I COUD WATCH YOU SAND BLAST ALL DAY, GREAT JOB
Thank you for another vid my friend, you brought what looked like it was found in the dump back to life, great job on that! The color choice was interesting for sure. Your build, your choice!
Ok this is just fun! I wish I could learn to do this kind of art.
I really enjoy this piece! The wheels in particular I like, reminiscent of the old wooden spoke wheels. I might have carried that woodish feel to the front roof supports if it were me. That said, it is a lovely restoration, and I appreciate you sharing it.
BEAUTIFULLY DONE
This is Japanese, circa 1955-60. I will message you some pics of mine. I think there was more to it than just a flywheel - you were missing some bits when you got it. These things are quite flimsy and the metal tabs are tiny - so I take my hat off to anyone restoring these things who doesn't just become frustrated and heave them out the nearest window.
I totally agree. It's too bad that there were parts missing (horn. spring to make it go, etc).
what you do makes happy ! Thank YOU ! you are an artist!
Another classic saved from the scrap heap. Well done.
Geez. The most complicated and detailed toy I have ever seen.
Great job! I love the colors! Japanese toys are always bright and cheerful for children.
When I was a little boy I couldn't resist taking any tin toy I was given. The problem was I couldn't put them back together again. Wish I had at least saved the pieces so I could put them back together. Great job and I love that little car. If I got my hands on it though, it would be back in pieces. Still can't control myself!
I was expecting black & orange with seats in red wine.
Great job.
What a before and after, well done a very watchable video.
That powder coating is amazing.
Hi my friend 👋👋👋 good to see you 🤝🤝🤝 this retro car is perfectly restored 👍👍👍💣👌🏽✌🏻🇷🇺
Beautiful restoration, good job!!
looks great good job
You should open a Toy. Repair shop. Fixing old abandoned toys with rust on it
Love the seats.
And of course the SANDBLASTER
I enjoyed this immensely.
Well done!
Love the powder coat!
With many others restoring modern exotic race cars on UA-cam it’s cool to see something else like this model T, I enjoyed it and would like see more of the older cars being restored, keep it up!
You got some serious talent don't stop color scheme is awesome
Very good got the first time with powder coating!
Very colorful! Just like a kids toy should be. Job well done sir...er...almost well done. You forgot to put the one-eyed, one horn, flying purple people eater in the back seat!!
Veo muchos videos de este tipo. Pero en casi ninguno el restaurador se toma la tarea de pintar a mano el juguete. Excelente trabajo.
Ohh you do some detailed painting! 😊 Most restores I've seen on youtube don't do that and their pieces lack detail at the end. I think it turned out really good!
So nice details!! Bravo!
Excellent restoration! 10 out of 10!
To tackle a toy this bad is quite an incredible feat.
Thank you. I've seen other channels tackle toys in much worse condition and am amazed at their final results.
This is without a doubt a gorgeous restoration. It's without a doubt a beauty. Although, the color combination is not directly my choice. But apart from that it has become a beautiful model.
I love your paint job
I love it !!!❤️❤️
Great job. I love your attention to detail. Keep up the good work and thanks.
Awesome informative Video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya Prayers 🙏
American toys, 10 parts. Japanese toy, 50 parts. That's why they made such good toys.
super job ! coating is perfect!
Great job!
GLORIOUS
I LOVE IT :)
Wasn't it old Henry Ford who famously said "You can have any colour you like..... As long as it's BLACK" I think at least the inside of the back of the hood should have been black? Apart from that what a brilliant restoration, just need you to come and restore me back to childhood so I can play with it. That would be very hard as they no longer make spare parts for my model age!!!!
Great transformation!! I missed the powder coating
Cool 😎 tin. Perhaps speed up the disassembly some and let us enjoy the sandblasting more. Sandblasting is just so satisfying. Awesome first time powder.
Ótimo trabalho
Ótimo vídeo
A real nice super peace. Wonderful job.
You went the hard but artistic route on the painting. As there were four tires, making a round stamp with a potato or something might have saved time, and masking tape might have made things more complicated but less stressful.
Thankfully, your talent made up for the increase in difficulty... Maybe a smaller brush, and a clip on a wire to give your supporting hand better grip and stability?
Eu também tenho uma Charanga parecido com essa é também restaurei e ficou muito bom !
Parabéns pelo trabalho , lindo .
Excellent work!!
Gotta hand it to you pal, you did a great job
I gotta handed to you sure know how to restore a child's play car . Good job.
Great job.
CUTE!
Very. Nice. Work. Brother. Sweet 👍😊👌. Like. Lee
great job, wonderfull result,
Well done.
As another commenter stated, removing that deflector from the tip of the gun and using the higher voltage setting will make it easier to coat. You just have to be cognizant of where the tip is in relation to the part you’re powdering, as getting too close will cause a small arc (& usually blows off the powder a bit).
I usually hang my smaller parts from a stainless steel wire hung from an oven rack, then keep the rack suspended higher up so that you’re shooting the powder mostly at a horizontal level; this helps avoid dropping any excess powder onto whatever it is you’re coating.
Powder coating pointers aside, you didn’t do bad for your first try at it and you’ll only improve your technique with time. 👍
I color combinations and accents are fantastic. 👍😎👍
Great job
Great job. It’s nice to get some more life out of an old toy. Quite a rare toy too.
You did well... Nice job
For the first time that you tried, your powder coating looks great
Beautiful and so much detail stunning
This one had a bazillion parts! It would have been intimidating at the least. Very nice work
Just loved it 👍
Fantastic restoration!
Nice job . Haven’t tried powder coating yet .
EXCELLENT
Fun Fact: Early Model Ts each had a different color based on the body style. For example, the 2 seater runabout was red. But issues with the paint arose as the assembly line technology was being improved... It got to the point where the paint was taking too long to dry. That's when Henry Ford introduced the "any color you want as long as it's black" policy due to black paint being the fastest drying paint at the time.
👏👏restauration de ce jouet très belle ,coloris ,bien choisi..👌
Fantastico.
great job!
Splendid job! Love the detail! Thanks...
Lovely job. A bit of white lithium grease on the gears to smooth out the friction motor.
Adorable.
I love the colors! Great job!
You did a real nice job of painting free hand. Impressive! I like the colors. They are lively!
Wow ! and then some. You made this Old Ladys Heart go Pitter Pat when I saw this Car. I absolutely Love what you did an how you made sure every detail was just right. This Car is Awesome on it's own but now it's even better. Thank you thank you thank you. My day is complete now. I appricate you sharing this. 💖💖💖

Linda restauração 🥰🥰🥰
I think that you did great for the first time using a powder coating.
really like the way that turned out .
Ficou lindo!
Nice job bro, looks awesome.
Hard japan tin toy ) For painting small details use Blu-Tack with toothpicks, sticks etc, sticking them into the foam, clamps...
Greetings from Russia!
The machine has become like new! Good job!
Great restoration! An intricate one. You were really brave.
Good job, saludo desde chile
Nice restoration!! Good job!!
Good job!
For the complainers I read below- Did you not see all of the colors this toy was originally painted?? Red black sky blue yellow... this thing was living technicolor! Furthermore nothing was done that was not irreversible, so cool your jets! Also if you have nothing better to do than complain - change channels- watch something else. Last: Show us what YOU have! For the craftsman who did the resto - Keep up the great work! 😃👍👍😃👍
