@@KellieChasse It is very absorbent, so I found if I gessoed it, it was easier to add layers. I used acrylics and inks.

Aw, nope....definitely real, I've working on less edits - they take so long, so I just figured I'll film along!

Wow, what a great idea. I didn’t know you can laminate like that! I have so many scrap (crap) pieces of paintings. What I’ve been doing is when I make cards, I also insert a coordinating bookmark. My family really loves that! I’ve never wanted to laminate because I love the feel of the watercolor paper. I do put a cost of Dorwents on it. But I’ll have to tr6 this. Thank you! By the way, I love your kitchen!

I love this so much!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. All the tips you share to help me out of my procrastination make so much sense - and I actually knew them already. Your confirming my gut instincts is very reassuring. I already have a laminator! But I watched the whole thing anyway. Good to know that I don't need another if it breaks down, because I have an iron, too! And I am such a squirreler, . Sometimes I think I should throw old stuff out, that it just clutters my space up and gets in my way, but it does come in handy when indecision sets in or I have an acute procrastination attack. I always seem to have fun making a bookmark and it's rewarding knowing I accomplished something - rather than nothing - even it took just 15 or 20 minutes I think I make more bookmarks than anything else, but people love them. Most of my practice stuff turns into bookmarks. Thanks for sharing this. It's very helpful - dare I say motivating.

Thank you so much for your kind words Patty! 🌟 I'm so glad to hear that the tips resonated with you and helped confirm your instincts. It sounds like you have a great setup with your laminator and iron!
I totally understand the struggle with clutter-it can be a challenge, but it’s amazing how those old supplies can spark creativity when you need it most. I'm thrilled to hear that making bookmarks brings you joy and a sense of accomplishment!
Keep up the fantastic work, and remember, every little creation counts. Your bookmarks are such a wonderful way to share your art with others! 🎨💕
